Party Puffins You're The Best Card
Have you seen the adorable Party Puffin stamp set from the new Annual Catalog? I received this super-cute card from Rosemarrie Gonzalez. Here's how she put it together…
Background Basics—Rosemarrie began by creating a subtle polka dot background on a 2-3/4" x 5-1/2" piece of Basic White by using one of the Basic Patterns decorative masks. She laid the mask over the piece, then used a Blending Brush and Pool Party ink to add color. I love the results!
She layered the piece onto a 3-1/4" x 5-1/2" piece of Pattern Party Designer Series Paper, which is a special paper pack that can only be purchased with Stampin' Reward dollars. Those layers are adhered to a 4" x 5-1/2" piece of Petal Pink, then mounted onto a Pool Party card base.
Party Penguin—Rosemarrie stamped a cute Party Penguin image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Basic White and colored in his beak and feet with a Petal Pink Stampin' Blends Marker. She fussy-cut the penguin, then tied a Playful Pets black & white baker's twine to his leg and popped him up with Dimensionals. Next, she die-cut the Polished Pink balloon with the Inspiring Canopy "moon" die and popped it up. She finished by adding a twine bow to the bottom of the balloon.
Sweet Sentiment—Rosemarrie stamped a Party Puffins greeting in Polished Pink ink onto Basic White, then punched it with the Double Oval Punch. She punched a Pool Party scalloped oval with the same punch, adhered them and popped them up with Dimensionals. So, so sweet!

Party Puffins Birthday Cake Card
Here's another adorable Party Penguin card, this time created by Patty Chenail and perfect for a birthday!
Background Basics—Patty also used papers from the exclusive Pattern Party DSP mega-pack. She adhered a 4" x 3" polka dot piece to the top of a 4-1/8" x 5-3/8" piece of Basic Black, and a 4" x 2-1/4" striped piece to the bottom. She added some Fine Art Floral Trim across the middle seem, securing the ends to the back, then mounted the layers onto a Polished Pink card base.
Party Penguin—Patty stamped the Party Puffin image in Memento Black onto a 2-1/4" x 2-3/4" piece of Basic White and colored it with Granny Apple Green, Polished Pink and Pale Papaya Stampin' Blends Markers. She layered that onto a 2-1/2" x 3" piece of Basic Black and a 2-3/4" x 3-1/4" of Polished Pink, then popped it up with Dimensionals.
Birthday Cake—She stamped the cake image onto scrap Basic White, colored that with Granny Apple Green, Polished Pink and Pale Papaya Blends markers, hand-cut it out and popped it up with Dimensionals. She finished by adding some Wink of Stella shimmer, which picks up the sparkle from the trim. Love it!
