Hi Stamping Friends!
I've been taking it easy after my foot surgery last week, trying to get lots of rest and keeping my foot iced and elevated. I ambitiously thought I would be getting much more done this first week than I ended up doing. I've been so tired and everything I do is taking so much more time when I have to hobble around and prop my foot up to do it. It's been quite an abrupt change going from 100 mph in pre-surgery, holiday countdown mode, to running about 0-2 mph post-op! And, it's been as big of a mental adjustment as a physical one. Mostly, I'm longing to get back to some regular stamping! Slowly, but surely, I'll be getting back on my feet!
I wasn't sure if I would be up for my "Last Thursdays" class this month, but I've decided to keep it on the schedule. I have my card designs in mind, but do not have the finished projects to share with you yet. If you'd like to join me for a "surprise" card class, please register below!

Happy Christmas Mini Gift Bags
I just adore these cute little gift bags created with our awesome double-sided Designer Series Paper. These 4" x 4" bags are so easy to make and are perfect for small gifts, gift cards, cash and treats! They make the perfect little table favor at a holiday party, too! So adorable! These bags were created for my team members who came to our November team event.
Mini Gift Bag Basics—This mini gift bag begins with a 8" x 12" piece of double-sided Designer Series Paper. I used the Festive Farmhouse DSP on this one. Use this handy template as a visual for the step-by-step instructions below and watch my tutorial video below to see it in action.
- Score along the 8" side at the 2" & 6" marks.
- Score along the 12" side at the 1", 5", 7" & 11" marks.
- Fold on all the score lines. Decide which pattern you want on the outside and fold the 1" trim pieces in the opposite direction so the backside of the DSP will show along the top.
- Cut on the 5" and 7" score lines up to the intersecting score lines on each side.
- Trim away a little notch on each side of the cuts you've made to create two bottom tabs.
- Add a strip of Tear & Tape Adhesive along the two edges between the 5" and 11" score lines.
- Fold and assemble the bag.
Ribbon Handles—Once the bag is assembled, a 1/8" hole punch was used to punch two holes on each side and 8" Black Shimmer Ribbons were threaded through and tied on the ends for handles.
Two Cool—Some of the mini gift bags were created with Under The Mistletoe Designer Series Paper and featured Real Red Mixed Satin Ribbon handles.
Decorating The Bag—The front of the bag was decorated with a sled die-cut from the now retired Alpine Sports Thinlits. The sentiment is from the retiring Flourishing Filigree stamp set, inked in Real Red and punched with the coordinating Pretty Label Punch! It's finished with a cute Galvanized Metal Button, also retiring, that's tied up with some Linen Thread. So, so cute!
Use Up Your Holiday Papers!—It's so fun to try lots of different patterns on these bags! I used up some of my last sheets of Festive Farmhouse and Under The Mistletoe DSP to make lots of fun bag styles! Here are a few more…

I needed something to put Hershey nuggets in so I cut all your measurements in half. Just right now for 3 or 4 nuggets. Thanks.
