Adoring Hearts Love You More Card
I received this pretty little card from Dena Rekow. It showcases the sweet Adoring Hearts Hybrid Embossing Folder, along with the Heartfelt Hellos Sale-a-Bration stamp set.
Background Basics
Dena started by embossing a 5-1/8″ x 3-7/8″ piece of Berry Burst cardstock with the Adoring Hearts Embossing Folder. She layered that onto a 5-1/4″ x 4″ piece of Very Vanilla, then tied some Gold & Vanilla Satin-Edged Ribbon around it. She mounted the layers onto a Bubble Bath card base.
Sweet Sentiment
Dena stamped a Heartfelt Hellos sentiment in Berry Burst ink onto a Very Vanilla Everyday Details circle die-cut and popped it up over the ribbon with Dimensionals.
Finishing Touches
To finish the card, Dena die-cut a Gold Foil heart with the Adoring Hearts dies and attached it with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. She finished by adding a couple of Iridescent Foil Gems.
Adoring Hearts Adore You Card
This gorgeous card was created by Peggy Noe. She also featured the Adoring Hearts Hybrid Embossing Folder and used both of the features of this special kind of folder. A “Hybrid” Embossing Folder means that it’s a traditional 3D Embossing Folder that comes with a special set of dies that can be used inside the folder, so you can emboss and cut in one pass through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. Too Cool.
Background Basics
Peggy embossed the 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″ Very Vanilla background layer with the Adoring Hearts Embossing Folder, then mounted it onto a Thick Basic White card base. Next, she popped up a 2-1/2″ x 3-3/4″ piece of Nature’s Sweetness Specialty DSP with Dimensionals onto the center of the card for a focal point foundation.
Sentiment Layers
Peggy created a lovely collage for a soft & vintage feel. She started by die-cutting Stippled Roses branches using another pattern from the Nature’s Sweetness DSP and adhered them to the backdrop with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Next she stamped an Adoring Hearts sentiment in Pebbled Path ink onto a 2″ x 7/8″ piece of Very Vanilla, banner cutting the end. She looped some Linen Thread behind it before popping up with Dimensionals.
Finishing Touches
Peggy used the Adoring Hearts Hybrid Embossing Folder to emboss and cut out two more Very Vanilla hearts and added them to the collage with a combination of SEAL and Dimensionals. She finished with a single gold Neutrals Adhesive-Backed Sequin. Just beautiful!
