All Adorned Simple & Stunning Swap Cards

Hi Stamping Friends,

Do you ever swap cards? I love swapping cards with my friends to gather some inspiration and have lots of samples to show at my events and here online. Swapping often encourages me to try out some unique card layouts that are different than my usual style.

Today I have a couple of swap cards to share with you featuring the All Adorned Sale-a-Bration stamp set. Both "thinking of you" themed cards have an eye-catching focal point against a neutral background and both are designed a little differently than my go-to style. The layouts are simple, clean and fresh and I can't wait to try them on cards of my own!

All Adorned Lots of Love Card

I love the stunning elements and design of this All Adorned card created by Deb Snyder! Three classy black panels create a foundation for a diamond-shaped focal point—Too Cool!

Patent Leather Panels—I always forget that we still have the Black Foil Sheets carried over from the Holiday Catalog and it adds lots of style to this focal point. Deb die-cut that paper with the Rectangles Stitched Framelits to create panels that have the look of patent leather! I LOVE it! The two smaller panels are 1/2" wide and the larger one is 1-5/8" wide. They are adhered with SNAIL to the Crumb Cake card base.

Fantastic Focal Point—Deb stamped the All Adorned decorative corner image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a 2" x 2" piece of Whisper White, then she layered it onto a 2-1/8" x 2-1/8" square of Crumb Cake and popped it up with Dimensionals. Next, she stamped the sentiment in Memento Black onto a 1" x 1" piece of Whisper White, layered it onto a 1-1/8" x 1-1/8" mat of Crumb Cake and popped that up as well.

Finishing Touches—There isn't a lot of frill and fuss on this card. Deb simply added three Rhinestone Jewels in three sizes along the side of the sentiment. Wow! This card is a stunner, for sure!

All Adorned Miss You Card

Dena Rekow designed this sweet swap card and its simple design gives the perfect feel to the "miss you" sentiment.

Background Basics—Dena started by wrapping a Gray Granite Texture Weave Ribbon across the front of a 4" x 5-1/4" layer of Gray Granite cardstock. The ends of the ribbon are secured on the back and the layer is mounted to a Thick Whisper White card base with some Tear & Tape Adhesive.

Fantastic Focal Point—Next, she stamped the larger All Adorned medallion image in Gray Granite onto Whisper White cardstock. She stamped the second two-step medallion over the top in Crushed Curry for a very trendy color combination.

TIP: For perfect alignment, focus on lining up the four dots of the second image into the four little circles on the first stamped image.

The image was punched with the 2" Circle Punch, then layered onto a 2-1/4" Circle Punch in Gray Granite and popped up with Dimensionals onto the the card front.

Finishing Touches—The All Adorned sentiment was stamped in Gray Granite onto a 1-1/4" x 1/4" strip of Whisper White, then fishtail cut on one end and popped up with more Dimensionals. She finished the card with a few Pearl Jewels floating around the medallion and one in the medallion center. So sweet!
