All Geared Up To Celebrate!

Hi Stamping Friends!

Today's project is a fun masculine card using the Geared Up Garage Bundle! It's the perfect card for today, because I'm "All Geared Up To Celebrate" during this weekend's Occasions Catalog & Sale-a-Bration Kickoff Party! This is one of the cards we'll be creating!

The card is also representative of a milestone in my recovery from foot surgery…I can finally do limited driving after more than a month of being stuck at home! Ahhh…freedom! I only left the house about 5 times the whole month for holiday festivities and doctor appointments, so I'm more than a little stir crazy! I will miss having a personal chauffeur, though! LOL!

All Geared Up To Celebrate Cards

I look forward to the Occasions Catalog each year to see a few new stamp sets and products specifically designed for guys. This year's Geared Up Garage is a classic! It's so perfect for those men in your life who love to fix up and tinker with cars. It has some great masculine sentiments that work for Father's Day, anniversaries and birthdays!

Background Basics—I started by adding a 5-1/2" x 1" Basic Gray piece of the Classic Garage 6×6" Designer Series Paper across the bottom of a Real Red card base. I selected a second key pattern, cut to 2" x 4", and layered it on the left side of the background. This paper pack has 4 each of 12 different double-sided sheets! Check it out…

Wow, that's lots of variety!

Sweet Ride—I stamped the Geared Up Garage car in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a 3-1/2" wide Whisper White Rectangle Stitched Framelits die-cut. I colored it with Cherry Cobbler Light and Smoky Slate Light Stampin' Blends Markers. I finished by adding the "geared up" sentiment. It's mounted onto a 3-3/4" x 2-3/8" Basic Black layer and popped up with Dimensionals.

Gears, Gears, Gears—Those Garage Gears Thinlits die-cuts make awesome little masculine embellishments! I added Tranquil Tide and Crushed Curry gears with Glue Dots for some pops of color. Perfect!

Two Cool—The second version starts with a Tranquil Tide card base with the blacktop and tire-skid patterns from the Classic Garage DSP.

Nice Ride—This time, I stamped the car on a separate Whisper White piece, colored it with a Crushed Curry Light Stampin' Blends Marker, then die-cut it with the Garage Gears Thinlits and popped it up. The gears accents are in Basic Gray cardstock.
