Autumn Tree Blessed To Have You Card

The first card from my upcoming Autumn Toile Suite class keeps the toile theme in mind with beautiful Mossy Meadow images and textures.

Background Basics

I started with a 5-1/2″ x 6-3/4″ piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock, scored at the 2-1/2″ mark. I added a 2″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Autumn Toile Designer Series Paper on the inside of the card, so it shows on the right edge.

Next, I embossed a 2-1/2″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock with the Gathering Leaves Embossing Folder and mounted it onto the shortened card front.

Terrific Tree Focal Point

I created a focal point background by die-cutting a Basic Beige Branching Out label. By the way, don’t miss the Branching Out Dies, which are a complete set of nested labels in a classic “ticket corner” shape. It’s an awesome addition to your collection, even without the stamps.

I stamped the two Autumn Trees rocks images in Mossy Meadow at the bottom of the Basic Beige label, then mounted it onto the shortened card front with SEAL Adhesive.

Next, I stamped the large Autumn Trees image in Mossy Meadow onto Basic White, die-cut it with the coordinating Autumn Trees die and popping it up onto the label.

Sweet Sentiment

I stamped the Amber Autumn sentiment in VersaMark Ink onto a 2-1/2″ x 1″ piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock, then sprinkled it with white embossing powder. After tapping off the excess, I heat the words with the Heat Tool until glossy and smooth. I adhered the sentiment with SEAL Adhesive.
