Hi Stamping Friends!

Halloween is right around the corner, and there's just enough time to enjoy the super-cute images and papers from the Spooky Night suite! At last month's Too Cool Team event, Amy Van Huisen presented some awesome projects using the Spooky Cat and other items from this suite. Today, I'm sharing a few of my favorites from her collection!

Happy Halloween Spooky Cat Card

Spooky Fun Details—Amy layered the fun & festive Spooky Night Designer Series Paper on the background of this Very Vanilla card base. The moon image is from the DSP, too, and makes a hauntingly fantastic background for the cat! Amy punched the cat image from the DSP and colored in the eyes with a Pear Pizzazz marker. She even added a little bandana, cut from the witch's hat DSP, around the cat's neck…love it! The only stamping is the sentiment from the Spooky Cat stamp set. Black Rhinestones give it a spooky sparkle!

Eerie Envelope—I also love that Amy fussy-cut some pumpkins from the Spooky Night DSP to decorate the envelope. Too Cool!

Happy Owl-oween Woodlands Card

Spooky Fun Details—Amy used the same moon DSP image as the backdrop for this Spooky Cat owl image. She trimmed a witch hat from the paper to put on his head…teehee! Black Rhinestones make up his eerie eyes! It's layered onto a Woodlands embossed Very Vanilla background, highlighted on the tree notches with a Sahara Sand marker. She adorned the card with some Black Vintage Crochet Trim, and mimicked the design of the trim with a hand-drawn accent on the envelope flap (yes, you read that right…hand-drawn!) Wow!

Spooky Night Note Cards Trio

Amy also created a trio of matching Halloween 3×3" note cards that use that same cool moon square of Spooky Night DSP. The first one has a Spooky Cat punched from the DSP and mounted onto a black silhouette. The pumpkins are cut from the DSP and popped up. The owl is a combination of stamped images and DSP. So quick, and so easy to make! What a fun way to dress up a little treat bag, or add them to a Mini Pizza Box decorated to match!
