After I posted my sticky note holder table gift projects from my Too Cool Team event yesterday, I realized that I never posted my table gift from our February event. It was SO adorable and a fun little gift that works for several occasions like Mother's Day (baking), Father's Day (grilling), thank yous, get well soon and even for thinking of your stamping friends. Apron of Love Nugget Treat Holders
I wasn't going to get the Apron of Love bundle, but dang it, my friend Peggy Tassler keeps coming up with the cutest projects with this set! She created these apron holders for our team event, and they hold two Hershey's Nuggets.
Treat Holder Basics—The holder begins with a 2" x 4-1/2" piece of Calypso Coral cardstock, scored at 1-3/4" and 2-3/4". Use the coordinating Apron Builder Framelits to cut out two aprons & two handles from Calypso Coral cardstock, and another two aprons from the Sale-a-Bration Bubbles & Fizz Designer Series Paper. Peggy used Multipurpose Glue to adhered the DSP apron to the card stock apron, tucking the handles between the layers with more glue. Then, use the Multipurpose Glue to adhere an apron panel to the front and back of the cardstock base. Add a Glue Dot on the inside of the aprons near the top to secure it closed and help hold in the nuggets.
Apron Décor—Peggy die-cut the Whisper White apron pocket front, as well as the Calypso Coral scalloped pocket layer, with the Apron Builder Framelits. She stamped the Apron of Love "best…ever" image in Island Indigo ink onto the Whisper White pocket, then stamped the "friend" word inside it in Calypso Coral ink. It's a clever little two-step stamp! The layers are adhered with SNAIL and popped up with one Dimensional at the bottom of the pocket to leave room for the utensils to slide in the pocket easily. Those baking utensils were die-cut with the Apron Builder dies from Silver Foil, then adhered with Multipurpose Glue tucked inside the pocket. It's finished with a 1/8" Silver Ribbon bow, attached with a Glue Dot.

We left the back blank, but it looks a little more finished with both sides decorated with DSP. You can see that two Hershey's Nuggets fit inside perfectly—one is flat and one is on its side.
Two Cool—The second version begins with an Island Indigo apron base and a different pattern from the Bubbles & Fizz DSP. This time, instead of baking, the theme of the apron is stamping! The Apron of Love set comes with the cute crafting sentiment, which was stamped in Island Indigo ink. Peggy added a Lemon Lime Twist mini pocket on top of the regular pocket and a pair of Silver Foil scissors inside the pocket. The Berry Burst heart die-cut plays off of the heart in the sentiment. Love this one!
