Yeti To Party It's Your Birthday Card
Debbie Groulik presented the fun Yeti To Party stamp set and limited-time-only Yeti Dies at our August Too Cool Stamp & Share Team event. I totally fell in love with this bundle! So cool! Here is one of my favorite's from her many samples!
Background Basics—This fun birthday card begins with a 4-1/4" x 11" Orchid Oasis card base that's scored at the 5-1/2" mark and embossed with the Stripes & Splatters 3D Embossing Folder 2-Pack. You have to run it through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine two times to get the texture embossed across the top and the bottom.
Next, she layered a 4-1/4" x 2-1/2" piece of the cool Snowflake Specialty Vellum onto a 4-1/4" 2-3/4" piece of Starry Sky cardstock. The Iridescent Foil snowflake pattern on the Specialty Vellum goes beautifully with the Orchid Oasis color!
Ready For Yeti—Debbie stamped the Yeti To Party image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Basic White, then die-cut it with the limited-time-only Yeti Dies that are featured in the Perfect Partners Promotion. She also used one of the special dies in the set to cut a slit where the Yeti's arm is, so that other images can be tucked behind the arm…looking like he's carrying something. She stamped a gift image, colored it with Orchid Oasis Stampin' Blends Markers and cut it out. After coloring the Yeti's mouth with Real Red, she popped up the character with Dimensionals.
Sweet Sentiment—Debbie stamped the Yeti To Party sentiment in Orchid Oasis ink onto a 2" x 1" piece of Basic White and popped up with Dimensionals. Simple and so adorable!
Yeti To Party Winter Wishes Card
Debbie Groulik also shared this super-cute holiday card with us during her recent presentation at our team event.
Background Basics—This card begins with a 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" piece of Balmy Blue cardstock, scored at the 4-1/4" mark. She covered the 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" card front with a piece the same size of the flocked snowflake Specialty Vellum. She also cut a hill from Snowy White Velvet Sheets (on sale this week!) and adhered it along the bottom.
Next, she adhered a Iridescent Snowflake Accent with a Glue Dot to the background.
Ready For Yeti—Like the first card, Debbie stamped the Yeti To Party image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Basic White, then die-cut it with the limited-time-only Yeti Dies. She used Stampin' Blends Markers to color the mouth Real Red and outline the Yeti in Pool Party ink. He's popped up with Dimensionals.
Sweet Sentiment—I love how Debbie created a little sign! She stamped the Yeti To Party sentiment in Memento Black onto a 1-1/2" x 2-5/8" piece of Balmy Blue cardstock. She poked holes in the cardstock with the Take Your Pick Tool, then threaded a piece of White Baker's Twine through the holes and tied the ends into knots. It's draped over his arm and popped up, as well. Adorable!
