Create these sweet cards with the help of your Stampin' Write Markers! Did you know that you can color directly onto the stamp to create multicolor images? It's so easy! You can watch my LIVE Class Video to see this fun technique in action!
You'll make this card with your 5-Card Kit!
Background Basics—I adhered a 2" x 4-1/4" piece of Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper to a Bumblebee card base. Next, I embossed a 4-3/4" x 3-1/2" piece of Basic White cardstock with the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder. I tied some Pool Party Sheer Ribbon around the layer before mounting it onto the card front.
Marvelous Multicolor Stamping—I colored the Art Gallery floral image with Stampin' Write Markers directly on the stamp using the side of the brush tip. You can see the marker strokes, but I think it adds interest and perfectly coordinates with the painterly look of the images in this Fine Art Floral suite! I colored the blooms with Bumblebee, Melon Mambo and Coastal Cabana, then finished by adding Old Olive for the stems and leaves. I huffed on the stamp before stamping to re-moisten the ink, then stamped onto scrap Basic White. It's die-cut using the Floral Gallery Dies, then popped up with Dimensionals and Mini Dimensionsals.
Sweet Sentiment—There are SO MANY awesome sentiments in this stamp set! I stamped one of them in Melon Mambo ink onto Basic White and punched it out with the soon-to-retire Classic Label Punch. It's popped up, too!
Finishing Touches—I colored Rhinestone Jewels with a Bermuda Bay Marker to add some sparkle. If you have Holiday Rhinestones, you could use the Pool Party ones for the perfect match!
You'll also make this card with your 10-Card Kit!
Two Cool—My second card has a Petal Pink pattern of Fine Art Floral DSP layered onto a Flirty Flamingo card base. The rest of the background is the same.
Flowering Focal Point—This time I colored the flowers with Mango Melody, Flirty Flamingo and Coastal Cabana, with Old Olive leaves.
Sweet Sentiment—The Art Gallery sentiment is stamped in Flirty Flamingo ink.
