Artfully Composed Happiest Birthday Cards
I focused on the Artfully Composed Designer Series Paper on these cards and paired it with a cool focal point that is made with a little sponging! I love the watercolor-like look it creates on these Artfully Layered leaf images!
Background Basics—I started with a 2-1/2" x 5-1/2" piece of Artfully Composed DSP and layered it onto a 2-3/4" x 5-1/2" piece of Just Jade. It's mounted onto an Old Olive card base.
Sponged Stamping—I inked up the Artfully Layered leaf image with Soft Sea Foam ink, then I used a Sponge Dauber to add a little Just Jade randomly around the edges of the leaves. I stamped the image onto Basic White and the result is a fabulous two-toned leafy image. I die cut it with the Tropical Layers Dies and adhered it to the background with SEAL.
Sweet Sentiment—I also die-cut a Soft Sea Foam Stitched Rectangle label and stamped an Artfully Layered sentiment on it in Evening Evergreen ink. I adhered a piece of White Frayed Ribbon across the card with SEAL, then popped up the sentiment label over the top with Mini Dimesionals.
Finishing Touches—I finished by adding a few of the Faux Sea Glass Shapes around the card. I love these unique little accents!
Two Cool—I selected a different Artfully Composed DSP pattern and layered it onto an Old Olive mat. It's mounted onto an Evening Evergreen card base.
Sponged Stamping—This foliage was inked in Pear Pizzazz, then sponged lightly with Evening Evergreen before stamping. Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the Evening Evergreen sentiment onto a Mint Macaron label this time. All of the other accents are the same as the original card. So pretty!
