Artistically Inked stripes - two cool
Artistically Inked Striped Cards
Here's another pair of cards showcasing the gorgeous Expressions In Ink Designer Series Paper. I love the gold stripes pattern and how it goes so well with the floral and marble designs with gold accents. If you earn the LIVE Class Kit, you'll have supplies to create both of these cards!

Artistically Inked stripes - white

Background Basics—I started with a 5-1/2" x 7-3/4" piece of Thick Basic White cardstock, scored at the 4-1/4" mark. I adhered a 5-1/2" x 2" piece of the Expressions In Ink Designer Series Paper to a 5-1/2" x 2-1/4" piece of Melon Mambo cardstock, then mounted it onto the card front flush with the bottom edge.

I adhered the 5-1/2" x 1" striped DSP to the bottom of the inside of the card. TIP: Do some decorative stamping on the inside before adhering the striped piece. I also stamped an Artistically Inked sentiment along the top of the card front in Melon Mambo ink. Then, I tied some Gold Shimmer Ribbon around the card front, tying it into a double-knot.

Artistically Inked stripes - white 3

Beautiful Bloom—I stamped this floral in Magenta Madness onto Basic White. In the video, I stamped it in Melon Mambo to match the background layer. The flower center is stamped in Pale Papaya and the leaves are stamped in Shaded Spruce. All images were die cut with the corresponding Artistic Dies. I popped up the flower with Dimensionals, then added the center and leaves with SEAL Adhesive.

Finishing Touches—I finished up with a couple of Brushed Brass Butterflies, which look so darling alongside any stamped flower.

Inside Décor—I added a Magenta Madness and Pale Papaya flower with Shaded Spruce leaves to the inside, too.

Two Cool—I changed up the measurements on this Shaded Spruce card base: 5-1/2" x 7-1/2", scored at 4-1/4". I decorated it with matching DSP measuring 5-1/2" x 3" and the same striped DSP along the inside. I also tied the same Gold Shimmer Ribbon around the front.

Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the Artistically Inked sentiment in Shaded Spruce onto a Basic White Tasteful Labels die-cut and adhered it to the front with SEAL.

Lovely Flower—This flower was stamped in Bumblebee with a stamped-off Cinnamon Cider center. Both of those colors lend themselves nicely to the gold accents in the paper. The leaves were stamped in Pear Pizzazz ink.
