Swirly Bird Simply Swirls Stamped Roses Cards

I love pairing the stamped images from Swirly Bird with the Swirly Scribbles die-cuts, but you don't have to use them together for amazing cards! Here, I've used the stamps only to create a beautiful, abstract bouquet of blooms in two of my favorite color combinations!

Background Basics—I started this card with a Tip Top Taupe card base that's neutral enough for you to use ANY color combination you love on your project!

Colorful Blooms—I stamped the Swirly Bird solid circles in Flirty Flamingo and Peekaboo Peach onto a 4-7/8" x 3-5/8" piece of Whisper White to start the bloomin' bouquet. Next, I stamped some Basic Black swirls on top of each for detail. I filled in some of the spaces in between with tiny blooms stamped in Sweet Sugarplum ink. And, finally, I filled in the remaining white space with the splatter image in Tip Top Taupe stamped off once each time for a lighter shade.

Sweet Sentiment—I stamped a greeting from the Watercolor Wishes Card Kit stamp set in Basic Black. I love this cursive font alongside the look of the swirls…they coordinate so well!

Finishing Touches—I mounted the stamped layer onto a 5" x 3-3/4" piece of Basic Black card stock, then tied some Basic Black Baker's Twine around it in a bow. The entire layer is popped up with Dimensionals onto the card front. Finally, I added just a few White Perfect Accents! Easy and oh, so pretty!

Two Cool—I turned my second card to the vertical orientation and changed to my cool color combination of Mint Macaron, Pool Party and Wisteria Wonder.

The greeting is again from the Watercolor Wishes kit.
