Hi Stamping Friends!

I've got a couple more beautiful autumn cards to share with you from my Too Cool Team shoebox swap last month!

Kathe - autumn accents grateful copy

Kathe Madsen designed this lovely card featuring the beautiful leaf shapes from the Autumn Accents Bigz Die.

Background Basics—We started with a Blackberry Bliss card base, then added a Very Vanilla Top Note die-cut for the foundation of the focal point.  The Merry Everything sentiment is stamped in matching Blackberry Bliss.

Lovely Leaves—The three Autumn Accents die-cuts are made with Vellum card stock, then sponged with inks in pretty fall colors: Hello Honey, Cajun Craze and Mossy Meadow.  To make them more realistic, we stamped the speckles from the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set in Blackberry Bliss.  I LOVE that little detail!

Finishing Touches—We tied a little Silver Baker's Twine bow on an Autumn Wooden Elements leaf, then adhered that over some Mossy Meadow Stitched Satin Ribbon.

Darla - lovely as a leaves copy

Darla Eigenschink designed this pretty fall card.  Do you recognize where the oak leaves images are from?  I was surprised to learn they were from the popular classic set Lovely As A Tree!  I rarely ever use this image (have I ever?), but Darla showed us how to highlight it beautifully!

Background Basics—We started with an Early Espresso card base, then added a 4" x 5-1/4" Mossy Meadow layer that was stamped with the Hardwood background stamp in stamped off Early Espresso ink.

Darla - lovely as a leaves 2 copy       .

Oak Leaves—We stamped the Lovely As A Tree leaves once on the top half of a 2-3/4" x 4-1/4" piece of Very Vanilla, and again on a piece of scrap Very Vanilla, using Memento Ink.  The beautiful fall colors were added with the Pumpkin Pie and Cherry Cobbler Blendabilities Markers.  The acorns were colored with Soft Suede and Early Espresso Stampin' Write Markers.

The image on scrap paper was hand-cut with precision Paper Snips and popped up with Dimensionals.

Darla - lovely as a leaves 3 copy

Finishing Touches—We matted the stamped layer onto a 3" x 4-1/2" piece of Cherry Cobbler and adhered it to the card front with Dimensionals.

The Good Greetings sentiment was stamped in Early Espresso ink on Very Vanilla card stock, then punched with the Word Window Punch and layered on a Modern Label punched shape.  It's also popped with Dimensionals over a small strip of Burlap Ribbon.  Love that natural texture in combination with the natural colors!
