While the Autumn Toile Designer Series Papers have some gorgeous toile patterns on the fronts, don’t forget about the more subtle, coordinating back-sides of the papers! Today’s card features two of those B-side patterns, creating a lovely background for this elegant fall card.

I started by adhering a 4″ x 3″ and a 4″ x 2-1/4″ piece of Autumn Toile DSP to a Gray Granite card base. I added a 4″ x 3/4″ strip of Early Espresso cardstock across the middle where the two papers meet for a finished look.

Next, I stamped an Amber Autumn sentiment in Pecan Pie ink onto a Basic White Stylish Shapes circle die-cut. I added a few Amber Autumn leaves images around the sentiment, stamped in Gray Granite ink, then mounted the element to the card front with SEAL Adhesive.

I die-cut a couple of Earthen Toned Metallic Paper leaves using the Amber Autumn Dies and adhered them to the circle with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped the Amber Autumn leaves & acorns image in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Basic White, then colored in the image with Stampin’ Blends Markers. For the acorns, I used Light Pecan Pie for the nut and Dark Pecan Pie for the stem, caps and shading.

For the multicolored leaves, I had these steps: 1. I added some Light Calypso Coral to the tips of the upper part of the leaves. 2. I added Light Mossy Meadow to the tips of the bottom of the leaves. 3. I added some Light Pecan Pie to most of the edges of the leaves. 4. I also added a bit of Light Crumb Cake here and there. 5. I finished by coloring over the entire leaves with Light Gray Granite, blending the colors to look more like watercolor.

I die-cut the images with the coordinating Amber Autumn Dies, then popped up the focal point with Dimensionals.

I topped off this card with a few Streaked Dots from the suite. They look so pretty and add a little shine that complements the Earthen Toned leaves. Stunning!
