Hi Too Cool Stamping readers!
FYI – I've had a family emergency and need to leave town for a little while. Unfortunately, I will not be able to blog much (if at all) while I'm away, so you won't see (m)any new posts for a bit. I appreciate your understanding and I'll be back stamping with you as soon as possible!
I'll still be checking my email, so you can still contact me.
Before I leave, I've listed some quick notes on some exciting announcements coming up soon. Not sure if I'll be able to blog about the details, but wanted to give you a heads up!

My New Faux Patina Video Tutorial Debuts Soon!
Beate Johns at Splitcoast Stampers asked me to do a pictorial and video tutorial for my Faux Patina Technique for their resource section, and I believe it will be available this Wednesday, April 11 (ETA: Nope, apparently not this week. Coming soon!). It is scheduled to be the featured technique on the Weekly Inkling Newsletter, too! How exciting! I'm so sad I'm likely gonna miss the debut!
This is the very first video tutorial that I've ever done, so go easy on me! I had a big learning curve, but I'm hoping that I'll be able to start doing more video tutorials for you right here!
Look for the Faux Patina technique in this Technique Resource Gallery on April 11! This technique was also featured as a Technique Lovers Challenge #370 couple weeks ago on this same site. Too Cool!
Retired Stamps List Announcement Comes April 15
We are only one week away from learning which stamp sets will be leaving us forever! It's always sad to see them go, but this year looks to be particularly interesting because of the changes to the catalogs. With a smaller annual book, the retired list could get a bit lengthy.
I'll try to post the Retired Stamp List here, but if I can't while I'm away, check back April 15 on my Stampin' Up! website under the promotions tab! All retired stamp sets will be available for purchase through May 31.
Retired Accessories List Announcement Comes April 25
I'm sure I'll be back by this date, but I wanted you to know when to expect an announcement for the retired accessories list. These items will be available while supplies last only.
Be back soon…
Angie
I watched your video on SCS and really like the technique, however, mine did not turn out too well. The lightest color that I have in my collection is SU Sahara Sand and it smugged on the embossing folder. I tried matching a few colors on my own and they were a flop. I am not good with colors and was wondering if you could provide the colors that you used on the other swatches you showed at the end of the video. Thanks.

Hi Linda! I have the swatches and recipes listed on my original blog post from last year. Find it here: http://toocoolstamping.typepad.com/toocoolstamping/2011/02/vintage-wallpaper-faux-patina-embossing.html
