Hi Stamping Friends!
Today Is The Last Day! Just a reminder that October 10 is the last day for:
• • • • •
Last night, I had the pleasure of hanging out with 15 members of my local Too Cool Team last night for our monthly Stamp & Share event. We always have so much fun at our events! Each event we have presentations from our team members, some business training, door prizes, challenge prizes, show & tell time, swapping and make & take stamping! I love our group! Want to join us next month? Learn about the benefits of Joining My Team!
Marsha shared tips on coloring with the NEW Stampin' Blends Markers.
Stamping time with Peggy, Marsha, Amy, Darla, Debbie, Jan & Deb.
Maxine, Loraine, Jodi & Karen working on make & takes.
We pack a lot into our 3-hour event and I always come away feeling energized and creatively inspired!
Today, I'm sharing the table gift that I created for everyone who came to the event!

Be Merry Special Delivery Acetate Treat Boxes
I love to give my Too Cool team members a little "thank you" gift when they attend my monthly Stamp & Share event. This month, I found a super-cute alternate idea for using the Acetate Card Boxes as a little gift holder. Dawn Griffith shared this fun project. Check out her video at Dawn's Stamping Thoughts.
Acetate Box Basics—The box gift holder is created by cutting an Acetate Card Box in half. I have a guillotine cutter, so it was easy to slice the box in half at the 2-7/8" mark. Or, you could use a Stampin' Trimmer to make little marks were you want to cut the box, then just trim with your scissors. Cut the box while it's still flat, then assemble the half box.
Box DSP—The Be Merry Designer Series Paper was cut to fit the inside of the box: no adhesive needed! Start with a 2-3/4" x 9-5/8" piece, then score along the long side at 1/2", 4-3/4" and 5-1/4". Slip it into the box as a free-floating insert.
Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the Merry Little Labels sentiment in Garden Green onto Whisper White, then die-cut it with the Layering Ovals Framelits. I popped it up onto a Cherry Cobbler scallop oval cut with the same dies, then mounted it on the box with more Dimensionals.
Treat Options—At this point, you have a cute little gift box that you can fill with all kinds of things! There is plenty of room for multiple fun-size candies, gum, Tic-Tacs, a gift card, hand-made gift tags and more!
Cookie Insert—I added a pull-out cookie to my box! I put the cookie inside a Clear Envelope, then sealed it shut leaving about 1-1/2" of the envelope at the top to add a cello topper.
Cello Topper Basics—I cut a 4-1/2" x 3" piece of Whisper White for the topper, scoring it down the center at the 1-1/2" mark. I folded it in half over the top of the cello bag and stapled it onto the bag. I adhered a 4-1/4" x 1-1/4" coordinating Be Merry DSP piece over the staples on the front and on the back for a clean finish.
Cello Topper Décor—To dress up the topper, I die-cut the word "enjoy" from Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper using the Mini Treat Holder Thinlits, and adhered it to the front with Multipurpose Glue. I finished the look by adding a 5-1/2" folded strand of Silver Mini Sequin Trim with a Glue Dot, then adding a Garden Green Stitched Satin bow over the top with another Glue Dot.
Too Cool—I did a second version using different patterns from the Be Merry DSP. The sentiment is now Cherry Cobbler and the oval mat is Garden Green. The bow on the cello topper is Cherry Cobbler Double-Stitch Ribbon.
I love how perfectly that cookie fits inside this box—what a yummy gift! The box should easily stand on it's own to make a fun gift at a holiday table setting. TIP: If the box falls over, you just need to use a Bone Folder to get a good crease on the folds on the box closure tabs.
