Accented Blooms Thinking of You Card

This sweet card is colored with only two Stampin' Blends Markers for a clean and fresh look! It's a beautiful design that would be perfect to mass-produce to have on hand for a quick card for a special friend.

Step-By-Step Instructions:

Wrap a 7” piece of the ribbon around the card base and secure to the front with SNAIL Adhesive. The ends will be hidden by the focal point.
Ink large Accented Blooms image in Memento Black and stamp on a 3-3/4” x 5” Whisper White layer.
Ink the solid tag Accented Blooms image in Pool Party, stamp off once and then stamp inside the outline tag.
Ink sentiment in Memento Black and stamp over tag image.
Color the flowers and leaves with Pool Party & Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Markers.
Snip the top right corner off the white layer and add the layer to the card base with Dimensionals.
Add the large black Faceted Dot where shown.

Accented Blooms Colorful Hello Card

With more layers and lots more colors, the second card is a bit more stepped up than the first. The Accented Blooms image is perfect for playing with Stampin' Blends Markers for blending & shading techniques. I like to start by coloring an area, like an entire flower, with the light marker using the brush tip. Then, I add in some lines of darker color with either tip of the darker shade. Finally, I use the fine tip end of the light marker to blend the shading to eliminate the lines. You could also use the Color Lifter Marker to lighten petals and add highlights.

Step-By-Step Instructions:

Score and fold the Daffodil Delight card base at 5-1/2”.
Flick the end of a Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Write Marker onto the 3-3/4” x 5” Whisper White background layer to make flecks of color. Adhere to a 4” x 5-1/4” Mossy Meadow mat, then mount onto card base.
Stamp the large Accented Blooms floral image in Memento Black on the 4-1/4 x 5-1/2” panel. Color with Stampin’ Blends Markers: Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Night of Navy, Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler. Start with light color, then add dark shading.
Fussy-cut the floral image with the Paper Snips and pop up onto card front with Dimensionals.
Stamp the HELLO or THANK YOU Accented Blooms image on the Whisper White scrap with Mossy Meadow ink and punch with the Tailored Tag punch. Pop up over floral image with Dimensionals.
Highlight all of the flowers and leaves with the Wink of Stella.
