Recessed windows are one of my favorite looks on cards and I created a couple of lovely recessed fall cards during my Beautiful Autumn LIVE Class last week. I've got all the details below!

Beautiful Autumn Recessed Window Trio Cards
The Autumn Punch Pack is perfect for creating mini recessed windows for a lovely focal point! I love how these two cool cards turned out!
Background Basics—This non-traditional card begins with a 5-1/2" x 4-1/4" quarter-sheet Cajun Craze card foundation. The card is created with a 5" x 7/1/2" piece of Very Vanilla cardstock, scored at 3-3/4" and mounted onto the Cajun Craze piece. I added a 5" x 1-1/4" piece of Gilded Autumn Designer Series Paper across the bottom of the card front.
Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the Beautiful Autumn sentiment in Early Espresso ink onto Mint Macaron cardstock, then punched it out with the Classic Label Punch. It's popped up with Dimensionals.
Autumn Recessed Accents—To create the three fall window layers, I punched the Autumn Punch Pack leaf or acorn shape in Mint Macaron, Crumb Cake and Cajun Craze cardstock, then die-cut the window with the smallest square in the Stitched Shapes dies. The three are popped up using Mini Dimenionals onto a 4" x 1-3/8" piece of Very Vanilla cardstock, then mounted onto a 4-1/8" x 1-1/2" piece of Early Espresso cardstock and adhered to the card front. I finished by adding a Linen Thread bow with a Glue Dot.
Two Cool—I created a similar card in a vertical orientation with an Early Espresso foundation. This time the DSP across the bottom measures 3-1/2" x 1-3/4".
Autumn Accents—The punched accents are exactly like the first card, simply positioned vertically on the same size layers. I added the same sentiment along the top of the DSP and attached a Linen Thread bow under the top maple leaf window. It looks great either way, don't you think?
Inside The Card—Save those punched out pieces and add them to the inside of your card along with another phrase from the Beautiful Autumn stamp set.
