Beautifully Happy Circle Card - two cool

Beautifully Happy Circle Blooms Cards

I tried one of my favorite card layouts with these two Beautifully Happy class cards and I think they turned out great! What do you think?

Beautifully Happy Easy To Love - coral 1

Background Basics—The card I demonstrated for the 5-Card Class Kit begins with a 7-1/4" x 5-1/2" piece of Calypso Coral, scored at the 4-1/4" mark. I adhered a 2-3/4" x 5-1/4" piece of Dandy Designs DSP to the shortened card front. Then, I added a 1-1/4" x 5-1/4" coordinating pattern to a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White for the inside of the card.

Sweet Focal Point—I stamped the Beautifully Happy sentiment in Memento Black ink onto a Stylish Shapes circle die-cut. Stamping the words first allows me to position the flowers better. I stamped the outlined image for the large floral Beautifully Happy stamp in Memento Black, too. I stamped the solid blooms images in Pale Papaya and the larger leaves in Soft Succulent. There is a smaller image that fills in the buds and smaller leaves all at the same time, but I wanted those to be in two different colors. So, I colored the smaller leaves with a Light Soft Succulent Stampin' Blends Marker and the buds with a Dark Calypso Coral Stampin' Blends Marker. I gave the blooms and buds some shimmer with Wink of Stella. The circle is popped up onto the card front with Dimensionals.

Finishing Touches—I tied some Soft Succulent Open Weave Ribbon around the card front into a double-knot. Finally, I added a two Calypso Coral Iridescent Pastel Gems around the edge of the flower on the inside of the card. So sweet!

Two Cool—My second version starts with a Coastal Cabana card base and pretty, coordinating Dandy Designs DSP.

Focal Point—I selected a different sentiment, stamped first for positioning, then added the floral outline image. The blooms are stamped with Balmy Blue and the large leaves are stamped with Granny Apple Green. The buds are colored with Light Bermuda Bay Blends and the small leaves with Light Granny Apple Green Blends. Oh, I so love the blues!

Finishing Touches—I tied this card with Pool Party Sheer Ribbon and added sparkle with a couple of Soft Succulent Iridescent Pastel Gems. Hey look! Those gems don't "technically" match, but they still look fantastic with these tealy-blues. Lovely!
