Beautifully Happy Single Bloom Thank You Cards Have you seen the Dandy Designs DSP Pack in the Sale-a-Bration Flyer? The patterns are fantastic, the color combinations are so pretty and the pack itself is HUGE—48 12×12" sheets! You get 4 each of 12 double-sided patterns…WOW! Best of all the patterns are the perfect backdrop for whimsical and pretty cards alike! The smaller patterns lend themselves well for cardmaking and the quantity makes it a great value for scrapbooking. You've got to earn one of these mega-packs!
I paired the Dandy Designs DSP with the lovely two-step Beautifully Happy stamp set, also from the Sale-a-Bration Flyer. Each item can be earned for FREE with a $100 order during Sale-a-Bration only, now thru February 28, 2023. I wanted a simple layout that showcased several of the cool patterns from the Dandy Designs pack and I love how these cards turned out!
Background Basics—I started with three different Dandy Designs patterns: 1-1/4" x 5, 2-1/2" x 2" and 2-1/2" x 3". I positioned them onto a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White and mounted them onto a Balmy Blue card base.
Sweet Focal Point—I stamped the Beautifully Happy single flower in Memento Black ink onto a Basic White Designer Tags die-cut. Then I stamped a sentiment from the stamp set in Memento Black underneath. I used the two-step Beautifully Happy images to add Balmy Blue color to the bloom and Coastal Cabana color to the two buds and flower center. I gave the bloom some shimmer with Wink of Stella.
Finishing Touches—I added SEAL Adhesive to the back of the die-cut, then folded some Pool Party Grosgrain Ribbon on it. I finished by popping up the element with Dimensionals. Finally, I added a few Iridescent Pearls around the flower. So sweet!
Two Cool—My second version features a collection of different Dandy Designs patterns all mounted onto a Fresh Freesia card base.
Focal Point—My focal point was stamped like the original and stamped with Pale Papaya on the bloom and Fresh Freesia on the buds and center. Shimmered up with Wink of Stella, of course!
Finishing Touches—This time, I tied some Fresh Freesia Open Weave Ribbon around the card front into a double-knot and accented the bloom with Iridescent Rhinestones. Those rhinestones are the perfect pair to the Dandy Designs pack, because they pick up all the blues, greens, purples, peaches and yellows from the patterns. Be sure to add a pack to your order…you won't be sorry!
