Hi Stamping Friends!

Sometimes you find a project online and
you HAVE to duplicate it immediately…do you know what I mean?  You
just love it instantly and want one of your own.  Right now!  Today's
project was one of those for me!

Envelope Pouch Note Cards - dahlias

This is my almost identical version of the project I saw, originally created by Becky Roberts. I love, Love, LOVE it!  Funny thing is that I don't typically like yellow and black combos…mostly because I'm an Indiana University basketball fan and black and gold is a little too "Purdue" for me.  Haha!  Sorry, Purdue fans!

Envelope Pouch Note Cards - dahlias 4

I love the unique presentation of a 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" pull-out note card inside a matching pouch.  And, I love the gorgeous Regarding Dahlias images, beautifully stamped in Summer Starfruit, covering the entire outside of the pouch. It makes me clap my hands together and squeal (<<<I know some of you have witnessed this before!)

I don't love how crooked I stamped that black border image from the Mosaic Madness stamp set on the note card.  *sigh*

I love that the pouch is created with a Medium White Envelope, sealed up and trimmed about 3/4" of an inch from the end. Too Cool!

I love that the "hi," also from Regarding Dahlias, peeks out through a 1-3/4" Circle punched notch at the top.

And, in my only change to Becky's card, I love that the flower from the Fabulous Florets was the perfect size and image to coordinate with the dahlias!  It's punched with the 1-3/8" Circle Punch and layered on a 1-3/4" Scallop Circle in black.  The Summer Starfruit Stitched Satin Ribbon gives it a lovely finish, too!

(Can you tell I like it…just a little bit?)

Of course, I had to try it in another version, and I thought Festive Flurry would be a great choice in Coastal Cabana.  I really like how it turned out (but not as much as the dahlias!).

I stamped the smaller snowflake to make the medallion and the awesome alignment over the larger snowflake is just a happy coincidence!  I trimmed this one with Coastal Cabana Ruffled Stretch Trim.
