Bee My Valentine Hearts Card
Valentine’s cards are a breeze with this NEW Bee My Valentine Bundle. I just adore the cute & versatile bee and heart images in the stamp set, as well as from the Bee Builder Punch for easy punching of the main images! While it’s billed as a Valentine’s set, you could easily create sweet hello, thinking of you or birthday cards!
Background Basics
This fun-fold card begins with a 7-1/4″ x 4-7/8″ piece of Crushed Curry cardstock, scored at 3-5/8″. That folded card is adhered to a 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″ Daffodil Delight card base.
The 4-3/4″ x 3-1/2″ piece of Basic White is embossed with the Softly Sophisticated Embossing Folder (a Sale-a-Bration selection) and adhered to the card front. I finished by adhering three 3-3/4″ x 5/8″ strips of Bee Mine Designer Series Paper to the background.
Bee-utiful Focal Point
I die-cut a Petal Pink Thoughtful Expressions die-cut and adhered that over the DSP strips with SEAL Adhesive. Next, I stamped the Bee My Valentine bee stripes in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Basic White. I stamped the bee body in Daffodil Delight ink over the top and added a cute Memento Black face before punching with the Bee Builder Punch. I popped that up with Dimensionals.
Next, I stamped the Bee My Valentine bee wings heart in Pool Party onto Basic White, then added the Memento Black wing outline over the top and punched it out with the Bee Builder Punch. It’s popped up, too.
Sweet Sentiment
I stamped the Bee My Valentine sentiment in Memento Black onto a 1-3/4″ x 3/8″ strip of Basic White, then tucked it under the bee and popped it up with Mini Dimensionals (or some of the outer edge of the regular Dimensionals).
Finishing Touches
I punched a Sweet Sorbet heart and tucked that under the bee with SEAL Adhesive. I added a couple of punched Pool Party small hearts around it with Glue Dots. I finished with a few Iridescent Rhinestones floating amongst the hearts.
Inside The Card
I stamped the Bee My Valentine sentiment in Memento Black, then added a punched Sweet Sorbet heart and some stamped Pool Party hearts. Perfect!
Bee My Valentine Always Bee Card
Laura Milligan sent me this super-sweet Valentine’s card created with the Bee Mine Suite!
Background Basics
Laura started with a 5-1/4″ x 4″ piece of Basic White that’s “die-cut” with the Stitched With Whimsy Dies to create a cool wavy faux stitching that looks like the bee is buzzing around. So clever! She adhered that to a Thick Basic White card base, then added a 5-1/2″ x 1-1/2″ piece of Bee Mine DSP across the card front.
Focal Point Foundation
For the background, Laura attached some Sweet Sorbet Bordered Ribbon behind a 4″ x 2-3/4″ piece of Bee Mine DSP and popped it up with Dimensionals. Next, Laura stamped a Bee My Valentine sentiment in Memento Black ink onto a 2-1/4″ x 1-1/4″ piece of Basic White and adhered that to the backdrop.
Bee-utiful Bee
Laura stamped the Bee My Valentine bee stripes in Memento black onto Daffodil Delight cardstock and punched it out with the Bee Builder Punch. She added a cute bee face and colored in some cheeks with a Petal Pink Blends Marker. She completed the bee by stamping the wings in Staz-On onto Vellum, punching them out and attaching them to the bee body before popping it all up with Dimensionals. She finished with a single heart from the Adhesive-Backed Hearts & Flowers pack. Those embellishments are super-cute: four colors of hearts in two sizes and four colors of flowers in two sizes!
