Bella & Friends Birthday Wishes Card
I love how my Jax & Millie birthday card came out! I tried to make them look just like them as much as I could!
Background Basics—I started by embossing a 5-1/4" x 4" piece of Blueberry Bushel cardstock with the Simple Stripes Texture Impressions Folder. I adhered it with some Tear & Tape Adhesive to the Blueberry Bushel card base for a secure hold. I wrapped some Whisper White Metallic Edge Ribbon around the card front and tied it into a double-knot.
Cute Pups—I stamped the two dog images from Bella & Friends in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto a 3-3/4" x 2-1/2" piece of Whisper White. I used my Ivory Stampin' Blends Marker to color in their apricot colored fur, making Millie a little lighter and Jax a little redder with a white chest. Toy-stealer Millie has a Pool Party bone and a Smoky Slate collar, while Jax has a Gorgeous Grape collar. Their Night of Navy heart tag is colored with a little Wink of Stella, too. I layered it onto a 3-7/8" x 2-5/8" layer of Gorgeous Grape and popped it up onto the card front with Dimensionals.
Sweet Sentiment—I stamped a greeting from Varied Vases in Memento Black onto a 2-3/4" x 1/2" strip of Pool Party, trimmed a fishtail on the left side and popped it up, too. I added a few Rhinestone Jewels for some sparkle.
Inside—I couldn't resist adding Millie and Jax on the inside of the card having some fun! Jax is eating something outside, as usual, and Millie is sitting pretty with the birthday balloon. So sweet!

Jax and Millie are just adorable! I’d forgotten about the eating thing, but my sister-in-law had a Beagle that she put food out in little piles around the room. She now has a new Beagle puppy and I bet she does the same for her.
