CASEd from Stampin' Up!
Speaking of Sale-A-Bration…my Too Cool Team had an awesome Sale-A-Bration themed Team Swap this week and these are the cards I made.
I used the Best Day Ever stamp set from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure. It's cute sentiments and tiny shapes are terrific for creating fun backgrounds, borders and tags. The set is available in all stamp styles (wood, clear, photopolymer), but I highly recommend the all-clear photopolymer for this one to ensure perfect alignment of the elements.
TIP: Be extra careful with these tiny stamps, especially with photopolymer ones. Since they are so little, and clear, and super-sticky…they are very easy to lose. As soon as you're done using it, put it right back in the case! Trust me…I've already lost a tiny photopolymer image from another set. I'm hoping to find it on the bottom of an ink pad or something someday.
Background Basics—I chose to create a rainbow of cards with the same design. I used Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Tempting Turquoise, Pumpkin Pie, Melon Mambo and Rich Razzleberry for my card bases.
Clean & Simple—There is only one 4" x 5-1/4" Whisper White stamped layer on the top of my card bases. What?! Only one layer?! That's so unlike me. You don't know how difficult it was to not add more!! I'm so proud of myself!
Sweet Sentiment—I started by stamping the sentiment in Tempting Turquoise on all of the cards. Then I added the striped heart image underneath in ink that matched the card base.
Pinwheels or 4-Petal Flowers?—I'm not sure which they are, but they sure are cute & colorful! I stamped the images in different combinations of Pumpkin Pie, Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight and Rich Razzleberry across the bottom, then added Old Olive colored stems (yes, there's a stamp for that!).

Candy Dots Accents—The Brights Candy Dots are what really make this card adorable. I alternated colors of those on every card, too. So sweet!
Another in Tempting Turquoise.
Inside Décor—All of the colors that I used came straight from the color combinations in the Sweet Taffy Designer Series Paper. I added a 1" wide strip of the striped pattern down the side to pull it all together. The 3-3/4" x 5" piece of Whisper White also has a matching heart stamped in the corner.
