Best Dressed Note Cards Trio
I love making little sets of adorable 3" x 3" note cards to give as gifts or to use on gifts of my own. The Best Dressed Suite features a pack of note cards with pre-printed swooshes of color and sweet little matching scalloped envelopes. I decorated each of the note cards with stamps and accents from the suite.
Bold Lipstick—I started this Purple Posy note card with a 1/2" x 3" strip of Best Dressed Designer Series Paper down the side and tied on some 1/8" Mint Macaron Sheer Linen Ribbon.
I stamped the Dressed to Impress sentiment in Memento Black ink onto a Whisper White Stitched Shapes circle die-cut and popped it up with Dimensionals. Then, I stamped the lipstick image in black ink onto Whisper White cardstock and colored it in with Lovely Lipstick (well, duh!), Mint Macaron and Gray Granite Stampin' Blends Markers. I added a little Wink of Stella to the lipstick, too. It's die-cut with the coordinating All Dressed Up dies and adhered with SNAIL. I finished with a single Glitter Enamel Dot.
Sensational Shoes—My second Petal Pink note card has 3" x 3/4" strip of floral Best Dressed DSP across the bottom and another Whisper White Stitched Shapes circle die-cut for a foundation. I stamped the Dressed To Impress sentiment in Memento Black ink across the top and added a Champagne Rhinestone.
I stamped the Dressed To Impress shoe image twice onto Whisper White cardstock with Memento Black ink and colored them in with Lovely Lipstick Stampin' Blends Markers and Wink of Stella. They are die-cut and added to the circle, with one of the shoes being popped up with Dimensionals. I finished with a Mint Macaron Sheer Linen bow.
Mother's Day Parfum—The final Daffodil Delight card features the Best Dressed parfum bottle image, stamped in Memento Black and colored with Mint Macaron Blends. I also stamped a flower image from the set and colored that with Purple Posy and Mint Macaron. Both images are die-cut with the All Dressed Up dies and added to the note card with SNAIL.
I stamped the Dressed To Impress greeting in Lovely Lipstick and die-cut it with the dies, too, then popped it up over the bottle. I finished by tying some Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon around the card front and adding a few Basic Rhinestone Jewels.
Make It A Gift Set—The Best Dressed Note Cards fit perfectly inside the little Best Dressed Miniature Tote Bags that I blogged about yesterday. You can add about 6 note with envelopes very comfortably! What a fun little table gift for a spring event or a cute gift for a birthday or Mother's Day.
