CASEd from Herzlich Willkommen at Paper & Stamps.
Cascading Blossom Bunch Punch Cards—Today's projects are another card design featured in my In Color Club Kits. This one will be the card for the Emerald Envy month. See the Sweet Sugarplum card and Flirty Flamingo card In Color Club cards already posted.
Background Basics—The foundation of this card starts with a 4-3/8" x 3-1/8" piece of Whisper White matted onto a 4-1/2" x 3-1/4" piece of Basic Black. That layer is eventually popped up with Dimensionals onto a Whisper White card base that was wrapped with Emerald Envy Ruched Ribbon. The ends of the ribbon are secured under the top layer with SNAIL.
Bunch of Punches—I used the Blossom Bunch Punch to create a pretty bouquet of flower shapes in Bermuda Bay, Cucumber Crush, Emerald Envy and Island Indigo. I punched twice from each color of card stock, then positioned the first layer of blooms where I liked them before adhering them. I included 3 Emerald Envy flowers, since that was the featured color, and 1 or 2 of the other colors. Play with a look that works for you leaving plenty of room for the sentiment.
Once the first layers were adhered with either SNAIL or Dimensionals, I added leftover smaller flowers on top, then added Rhinestone Jewels to each flower.
Sweet Sentiment—I finished up the card with a greeting from the new Bunch of Blossoms set, stamped in Emerald Envy.
Two Cool—My second horizontal card features a whole new array of colors: Calypso Coral, Flirty Flamingo, Peekaboo Peach & Sweet Sugarplum. I used a different greeting from Bunch of Blossoms, this time with Memento Black Ink.
Finishing Touches—This time I used Pearl Jewels on the flowers. And, instead of the ribbon, I adhered a 5-1/2" x 1" striped strip of In Color Designer Series Paper along the bottom edge.
Complete Supplies List—"Clear" means a rubber stamp on a clear block. "Photopolymer" is see-thru.
