Peggy Tassler created this beautiful card with a couple of awesome techniques! First, she used the Double-Time Stamping technique to stamp on both layers at the same time. She also used sponging to change the background color in an unexpected way!
Double-Time Stamping—Peggy started by temporarily adhering a 2-3/4" x 4" piece of Whisper White cardstock to a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Petal Pink cardstock. She stamped the Free As A Bird branch across the middle in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. She also added a couple of the single flowers along the top left and bottom right edges, so that a couple of the images stamped onto both pieces.
Smoky Background—Peggy separated the pieces, then used a sponge dauber to light add Memento Black ink over the entire Petal Pink background piece. I love how the sponging in black gives it a smoky pink look! Very cool! Next she added some Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon across the bottom, securing the ends on the back with SNAIL.
Colored Focal Point—Peggy colored the top layer with Stampin' Blends Markers: Balmy Blue for the birds, Petal Pink for the flowers, Old Olive for the leaves and Soft Suede for the branch. She adhered the layer onto a 3" x 4-1/4" Basic Black mat and popped up the layer with Dimensionals.
Sweet Sentiment—Peggy stamped the Beautiful Bouquet birthday sentiment in Memento Black onto Whisper White, then die-cut it using the Stitched Nested Labels dies and adhered it with SNAIL and a Mini Dimensional.
Finishing Touches—After tying some Linen Thread around all of the background layers, she adhered them to a Petal Pink card base with SNAIL. She stamped the Free As A Bird flower and leaves onto Whisper White with Memento Black, then colored them in with Stampin' Blends. She cut them out by hand with super-share Paper Snips and adhered them with Glue Dots. She finished the card with a couple of Pearl Jewels.
Marsha's Bird Ballad Z-Fold Card
Marsha Henry used the cool Stitched Nested Labels dies to create a fun Z-Fold card with a peek-a-boo message on the inside.
Background Basics—Marsha's card begins with a 11" x 4-1/4" Crumb Cake card base, scored along the 11" side at the 2-3/4" and 5-1/2" marks and folded into a "Z." She decorated the front flap with a 2-1/2" x 4" piece of Pool Party cardstock that was embossed with the Subtle embossing folder. She also added a Pearlized Doily with a couple of Glue Dots.
Focal Point—Marsha stamped the Free As a Bird branch and bird images in Soft Suede onto a Whisper White Stitched Nested Labels die-cut. Like Peggy, she used Stampin' Blends Markers to color in the images in Pool Party, Daffodil Delight and Mossy Meadow. She attached the label with Dimensionals to the front flap. She finished by coloring some Pearl Jewels with the Dark Daffodil Delight marker and adding them to the label.

Inside The Card—Marsha decorated the inside of the card with a 5-1/4" x 4" piece of Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper. She die-cut the same size Stitched Nested label as the one on the front and added a sentiment and flower.
I love that the front label hides the inside of the card! Peek-a-boo!
