Hi Stamping Friends!
Have you started your Christmas cards yet? My Countdown To Christmas class series is a great way to get a head start on at least one item on your Holiday To Do List!
Today, I'm sharing the second card from my November Flurry of Wishes class, but you can still order the September Your Presents Kit & October Embellished Ornaments Kit, too! It's not too late! Simply let me know which classes you'd like to register for by October 29 to receive them early next month!

November's Flurry of Wishes Class Kit—We'll be making 12 cards with this kit; 6 each of two Flurry of Wishes designs! I've already posted the details on the first card design: Flurry of Wishes Founder's Circle Cards. Let's take a closer look at the second card design!
Blackberry & Taupe Flurry of Wishes Cards
Our second card design features another crisp & refreshing color combination that looks great with the Flurry of Wishes snowflakes: Blackberry Bliss, Rich Razzleberry, Night of Navy, Sahara Sand & Tip Top Taupe!
Background Basics—The card base may look like Basic Black in some of the photos, but it's really the rich & elegant Blackberry Bliss color! I added a 4-3/4" x 3-1/2" layer of Tip Top Taupe, then adhered a 4-5/8" x 3-3/8" piece of Whisper White, texture embossed with the Softly Falling Folder, on top.
Snowflake Flurries—For the focal point, I stamped the second to largest Flurry of Wishes snowflake in Night of Navy onto Whisper White, then punched it out with the coordinating Flower Medallion Punch. Did you know that you could use that punch—it fits perfectly? Cool!
I stamped a Rich Razzleberry snowflake and punched it with the largest snowflake shape on the Snow Flurry Punch. It's popped up with Dimensionals.
Silver Thread—For a little extra texture and shimmer, I added some loops of Silver Metallic Thread under the big snowflake. You'll receive a full spool of this thread with your class kit!
Looping TIPS: Sometimes looping this extra-fine thread can be tricky, but I have a few tips! Cover the back of the snowflake with SNAIL or Tear & Tape Adhesive first. Wrap the thread around your four fingers, slightly spread apart, about 4-5 times. Slip the thread off your fingers and twist it into a figure eight shape, then press it onto the back of the snowflake. You can add more Tear & Tape over the top to hold it in place if it's having a mind of its own. Arrange the loops in a pleasing manner and adhere onto the card front.
Sweet Sentiment—I stamped a greeting from the Flurry of Wishes stamp set in Blackberry Bliss ink onto a 4-3/4" x 1-1/2" piece of Sahara Sand card stock. The end was fish-tailed with the help of the Banner Triple Punch.
Finishing Accents—I added another small Night of Navy Flurry of Wishes snowflake, punched with the Snow Flurry Punch, on the top of the banner with Dimensionals. Then, I added a wooden Snowflake Element with a couple Glue Dots. I finished off the card with three Pearl Jewels randomly placed around the flakes. Lots of fun dimension and textures!
Two Cool—I used the same basic elements to create a vertical version of the card, too!
Sweet Sentiment—I made the banner just wide enough to use with this longer Flurry of Wishes greeting, so that it was easy to create the card in either direction.
Three Cool—Here's another horizontal version using the longer greeting.
