Bloom Boutique Happy Birthday Card

It’s so easy to create a beautiful bouquet of blooms with this sweet Bloom Boutique Suite! The two-step images make quick work of creating colorful blossoms and leaves.

Background Basics

I started with a Crisp Cantaloupe card base and randomly stamped the Boutique Blossoms starburst cluster image in Crisp Cantaloupe ink over the right side of front. Next, I stamped the Scalloped Blooms sentiment in black ink at the bottom.

Next, I adhered a 1/2″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Gold Foil under the edge of a 1-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Bloom Boutique Designer Series Paper and mounted it onto the left side of the card front with SEAL Adhesive.

Focal Point Flowers

I stamped all of the Boutique Blossom flowers in black ink onto Basic White cardstock: large blossom, medium blossom, 2 small flowers, 2 trio of leaves and 3 single leaves. Then, I used the two-step images for each of the elements to add color with ink pads: large flower in Crisp Cantaloupe, medium flower in Barely Blush, small flowers in Golden Glow and all leaves in Peaceful Pine.

After die-cutting all of the images with the coordinating Boutique Blossoms Dies, I started layering the pieces onto the card front. The blossoms were popped up with Dimensionals and the leaves were tucked under and adhered with SEAL Adhesive or you could use Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Optional: I added some additional color with the Golden Glow Dark Blends Marker to the small flower centers and Crisp Cantaloupe Light Blends Marker to the medium flower center shading.

Finishing Touches

I finished up by adding a couple of Barely Blush 2026-2028 In Color Dots around the bouquet. I think the Golden Glow dots would look amazing, too, because of the foiling accents.

If you really want to sparkle things up, try the NEW In Color Shimmer Brushes. They offer spectacular sparkle & shine, just like the Wink of Stella brush, only in color! I didn’t use them on my projects, but I will link them below.
