Bloom Boutique Thanks For Being There Card

I love combining the florals from the Boutique Blossoms Bundle with the sentiments and scalloped circles from the Scalloped Bundle. So lovely!

Background Basics

I started with a Hydrangea Hue card base measuring 5-1/2″ x 7-1/4″, scored at the 3″ mark. I adhered a 2-3/4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Blossom Boutique Designer Series Paper to the shortened card front with SEAL Adhesive. I also mounted a 1-1/4″ x 5-1/4″ strip of the DSP to the right edge of a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Basic White cardstock that was adhered to the inside of the card with the DSP showing when the card is closed.

Focal Point Sentiment

I die-cut Scalloped Blooms scalloped circles in Basic White & Hydrangea Hue cardstock. I stamped the Scalloped Blooms sentiment in black ink onto the Basic White scalloped circle, then popped it up onto the Hydrangea Hue layer. I then attached the layers to the card front with SEAL Adhesive, positioned so that it overhangs the edge.

Focal Point Blossoms

I stamped the Boutique Blossoms medium flower and flower buds images in water-based black ink onto Basic White cardstock. I colored the images with Crisp Cantaloupe & Peaceful Pine Stampin’ Blends Markers, using the light markers to color the full area, then shading with the dark markers. I die-cut the elements with the coordinating Boutique Blossoms dies, then popped them up around the scalloped circle focal point. I used a combination of Dimensionals and SEAL Adhesive to attach them.

Finishing Touches

I tied some Crisp Cantaloupe Bordered Ribbon around the card front into a double-knot & trimmed the ends. I also added a couple of Peaceful Pine 2026-2028 In Color Dots for balance. Just darling!

Optional: If you really want to sparkle things up, try the NEW In Color Shimmer Brushes. They offer spectacular sparkle & shine, just like the Wink of Stella brush, only in color! I didn’t use them on my projects, but I will link them below.
