Hi Stamping Friends!
It's always such an interesting time in my stamping world right before the Christmas holidays. As usual, I'm finishing up my holiday cards and getting them in the mail at the last minute. And, even as I'm just finding time to get into the Christmas spirit, finishing up my holiday shopping and enjoy the seasonal festivities, I'm longing to dig in and start playing with all of the brand new stuff from the 2020 Mini Catalog & Sale-a-Bration Flyer! It all starts on January 3!
So today, I'm giving you a little sneak peek of one of the adorable new suites in the Mini Catalog called Birthday Bonanza! It also shows off some of the papers from the suite. Bonanza Buddies Let's Celebrate You Card
The little animal characters in the Birthday Bonanza suite are super-adorable! They are perfect for making birthday cards for kids, but any age will love them! Here's a sweet and simple card just to give you a taste!
Background Basics—This card begins with a Whisper White Note Card that also comes with an envelope. The 2-1/2" x 4" piece of Birthday Bonanza Designer Series Paper is layered onto a 2-3/4" x 4-1/4" piece of Coastal Cabana cardstock and adhered to the note card front.
Cute Koala—The Bonanza Buddy koala image is stamping in Smoky Slate ink onto a scrap of Whisper White cardstock. Next, the hat was stamped in Coastal Cabana ink and the facial features were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The image was then punched with the 2" Circle Punch. The Coastal Cabana scallop circle is die-cut with the Layering Circles dies and the two are layered together with SNAIL adhesive and popped up with Dimensionals onto the note card front.
Sweet Sentiment—The Bonanza Buddies greeting was stamped in Coastal Cabana ink onto Whisper White cardstock and punched with the Classic Label Punch. It's popped up with Dimensionals, too.
Finishing Touches—A single Bermuda Bay Assorted PomPoms accent was added to the top of the party hat with a dab of Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Oh my…isn't it darling?!

Bonanza Buddies Multi-Fold Card
This fun-fold card gives you a lovely sneak peek of 4 more Birthday Bonanza DSP patterns! What a fun card!
Background Basics—This card begins with a 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" Bermuda Bay quarter-sheet card base. It's layered with a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Terra Cotta Tile, then another Bermuda Bay layer measuring 3-1/4" x 4-1/2".
Multi-Fold Panels—The Mango Melody cardstock is 4-1/4" x 11" and is scored at the 1-1/2", 3", 5-1/2" and 8" marks. Fold it in an accordion style and attach to the card base with SNAIL Adhesive.
Decorating The Panels—Add Birthday Bonanza DSP to each of the panels that shows to the front of the card. The back tiny animals layer is 4" x 2-3/4"; the middle balloon layer is 4" x 2-1/4" and the front gifts layer is 4" x 1-1/4".
Birthday Medallion—The Bonanza Buddies sentiment was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Whisper White. A Bermuda Bay gift image was stamped underneath, along with Memento Black ribbon over the top. The image was then punched out with a 2" Circle Punch, layered onto a 2-1/4" Terra Cotta Tile punched circle and popped up onto the front panel. It's finished with another sentiment from the stamp set inked in Memento Black. How fun!
