Hi Stamping Friends,
Need a quick note? Today I'm sharing a simple card that you can throw together in just a few minutes when you need a card to accompany a payment or just to let someone know that you care. Best of all, it uses up those Designer Series Paper scraps that are leftover from your other card projects!
We'll be making this card at my "Last Thursdays" class tonight. I do have a few extra kits if anyone still wants to join us! Register below by 2pm today!

Botanical Butterflies 3-Panel Cards
The beautiful butterfly patterns in the Botanical Butterflies Designer Series Papers combine to create a lovely spring background on these notes! You can earn the Botanical Butterflies DSP for FREE with a $50 order during Sale-a-Bration.
Buffalo Basics—The background is created with Botanical Butterflies black & white checked pattern measuring 4-1/8" x 1-3/8" adhered to the bottom of a 4-1/8" x 5-3/8" layer of Basic Black. For the 3 panels, I started with a 3-3/4" x 3-3/4" square of Botanical Butterflies DSP, which I then cut into 1-1/4" wide strips using my Stampin' Trimmer. I adhered them to the top of the Basic Black piece, taking care to keep them in the correct order for a continuous scene. TIP: To help with spacing, I adhered the outer two panels first, then added the center panel.
I mounted the entire background onto a 4-1/4" x 11" vertically-folded Thick Whisper White card base. The Granny Apple Green Texture Weave Ribbon was wrapped around the card front and tied into a double-knot.
Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the Butterfly Gala greeting in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto Whisper White cardstock, then die-cut it with the Layering Ovals Framelits. It's layered onto a Basic Black scalloped oval die-cut with the same dies. I popped it up over the ribbon with Dimensionals. I finished by adding a single Glitter Enamel Dot in matching Granny Apple Green. How sweet!
Two Cool—For a second design, I tried the coral butterflies pattern of the Botantical Butterflies DSP for the 3 panels.
This time, I wrapped some Calypso Coral Satin Ribbon around the card and added a few black Faceted Dots.
Three Cool—I also tried a version in black & white with a couple of pops of color! Simple & stunning! Don't forget you could always color in the butterflies on this paper to the colors you like most!
