Botanical Prints Decorative Corners Thank You Card

The Botanical Prints dies includes two intricate corner dies that add a bit of elegance and texture to your cards! I love them as a pretty backdrop for focal point images!

Background Basics—I started with shortened Pretty Peacock card base: 5-1/2" x 7-1/2" and scored at the 4-1/4" mark. I added a 5-1/2" x 3-1/4" piece of Botanical Prints Designer Series Paper on the card front and a 5-1/2" x 1" strip of the striped DSP along the inside bottom. I also tied some of the pretty Old Olive Twine Ribbon from the medley around the card front.

Focal Point—The backdrop starts with a 3-1/4" x 3-1/4" square of Old Olive cardstock. Then, I die-cut two Basic Black decorative corners and added them with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I used Tear & Tape Adhesive to securely attach the layer onto the card front so that it would hang over the edge.

I attached the two pre-printed die-cut images with SNAIL Adhesive. Then, I stamped the Botanical Prints greeting in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a pre-printed label from the medley and popped it up with Dimensionals. Another sweet & simple card from this amazing suite!

Botanical Prints Decorative Corners Friend Card

I CASEd one of the projects shown in the Mini Catalog for this cute card! I love those decorative corner die-cuts creating a pretty frame!

Background Basics—I layered a 5-1/2" x 2-3/4" strip of the Botanical Prints DSP across a Whisper White Thick card base and tied some ribbon around the card front like the first card.

Cute Corners—I layered four Crushed Curry corner die-cuts onto a 3-1/2" x 3/1/2" square of Whisper White cardstock and mounted it to a 3-3/4" x 3-3/4" piece of Terracotta Tile. It's adhered to the card front with Tear & Tape.

Floral Focal Point—I stamped the floral images in Memento Black, colored them with Petal Pink, Calypso Coral and Old Olive Stampin' Blends Markers, die-cut them and added them with SNAIL.

Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the greeting in Terracotta Tile ink onto a Whisper White Stitched Shapes circle. I adhered a 2" x 1/2" strip of Old Olive cardstock with fishtail cut ends to the back of the circle, then popped it up with Dimensionals.
