As soon as I saw the Textured Notes rectangle die, I knew I wanted to create a card with this layout! That medium-size rectangle is just the right size for a peekaboo look!

I started with a 4-1/4″ x 7-3/4″ piece of Basic Gray, scored at the 2-1/4″ mark. I adhered a 2″ x 4″ piece of Woven Textures Designer Series Paper to the shortened card front. On the inside, I mounted a 5-1/4″ x 4″ piece of Pecan Pie cardstock.

Next, I die-cut a Basic Gray Textured Notes rectangle and adhered a 3-3/4″ x 2-1/4″ piece of Botanical Textures Designer Series Paper to it. I attached it to the short card front using SEAL Adhesive.

I embossed a 4-1/4″ x 1/2″ strip of Crumb Cake with the Mini Corrugated Embossing Folder and attached that with Multipurpose Liquid Glue across the front.

I stamped the Textured Notes leaves in Pecan Pie onto Basic White, then used my super-sharp Paper Snips to cut out the image. It’s popped up with Dimensionals and Mini Dimensionals.

I stamped the Textured Notes sentiment in Basic Gray ink onto a Basic White Textured Notes small rectangle die-cut. To attach it, I added a strip of Dimensional edging to the top and a little SEAL adhesive along the bottom. The corrugated texture gives it enough height to make it lay more even that it would if it had Dimensionals across the bottom.

I added a couple of Pecan Pie Neutral Matte Dots around the leaves to dress it up.

Behind the peekaboo layer is a 3-3/4″ x 2-1/4″ piece of Basic White cardstock, stamped with a Textured Notes distressed basket weave in Crumb Cake ink and a greeting in Basic Gray. Now this appreciation card is perfectly complete.
