Here’s What You Need To Know
8-1/2″ x 11″ Cardstock Updates
- 24-Sheet Packages—Beginning with the NEW 2025-2026 Annual Catalog release on May 6, 2025, all cardstock will be offered in 24-sheet single color packages, including Basic White, Very Vanilla and Basic Black.
- Cardstock Assortments—All color family 8-1/2″ x 11″ assortments will be 20-sheets.
- Price Increase—All packages of single-color cardstock will be $14 per pack beginning May 6.
- Basic White Has Already Changed—Basic White has sold out of the 40-sheet package. It is now available in the 24-sheet package at the $14 price. Other colors will transition before May 6 as the current packaging sells out.
- Basic White Thick—You may have heard rumors that this would no longer be available, but it WILL be available going forward as an Online Exclusive product. It will be packaged in 24-sheets and the cost will be $17. (Right now it is only $11.25, so I would stock up!)

Botanical Textures Espresso Appreciation Card
Ooooh…this suite hits all the right buttons for me! Rich and earthy neutrals, lots of layers and natural textures, a bit of leaves and beautiful classic lines. There are so many gorgeous possibilities for mixing and matching the Botanical Textures and Woven Textures Designer Series Papers, I could have just went on and on!
This beautiful Espresso weave was my absolute favorite and I loved the contrast of the little black & white leaves. Hope you love it, too!
Background Basics
I started by die-cutting an Early Espresso background with the largest Textured Notes rectangle die. I mounted it onto an Early Espresso card base. Next, I added a 3-1/2″ x 2″ piece of Pecan Pie cardstock across the middle for a pop of color. Then, I used a smaller Textured Notes rectangle die to cut a piece from that dark basket pattern of Woven Textures DSP. It’s mounted with SEAL Adhesive to the card front.
Focal Point
I was going to simply die-cut a circle of the Botanical Textures DSP for the focal point element, but I decided to re-create it with stamps instead. I cut a Basic White Stylish Shapes circle, then used the Textured Notes little leaves stamp to mimic the paper. I stamped in full-strength Memento Tuxedo Black ink, then stamped again for a lighter look. After repeating several times in different orientations, I felt I achieved the same look as the paper! Too Cool!
I popped up this circle element with Dimensionals.
Sweet Sentiment
I stamped the Textured Notes sentiment in Memento Black onto a Crumb Cake Textured Notes label die-cut. It’s attached with SEAL Adhesive and a Dimensional on the end.
Finishing Touches
I tied a Linen Thread bow and attached it with a Glue Dot to the sentiment label corner. Then, I added a few black Neutral Matte Dots around the collage. Gorgeous!
