I've got some VERY exciting news to share with you today!  Stampin' Up! has just announced there will be a complete Color Renovation in the upcoming 2010-2011 Idea Book & Catalog coming out July 1!  This is BIG and you're gonna LOVE it!

Color Renovation
largeStampin' Up! has been working for the last 2 years to create new Color Collections that are trendy and offer stampers refreshing new color combinations!  The result is a stream-lined reorganization of all of the most popular current colors, the return of some of your favorite In Colors, and the introduction of some amazing new colors to round out the entire line.  You can see the new color Collections by clicking to enlarge the flyer pictured here.

Fond Farewell Colors large Colors That Are Retiring

Are you sitting down?  30 colors of the 48 exclusive colors will be retiring on June 30.  Yes, you read that right.  First off, don't freak out!  Many of these colors were not big sellers, so you probably weren't using them much anyway.  But, there certainly are some that I really like that are leaving, so I'll definitely be stocking up on my favorites.  The good news is they are making room for colors that are sure to become your new favorites (and mine)!  Here is the list of colors soon-to-be bidding a fond farewell (in rainbow order), or click to enlarge the flyer pictured:

  • Pink Passion
  • Pixie Pink
  • Pale Plum
  • Orchid Opulence
  • Lovely Lilac
  • Lavendar Lace
  • Almost Amethyst
  • Bordering Blue
  • Brocade Blue
  • Ballet Blue
  • Brilliant Blue
  • Taken With Teal
  • Glorious Green
  • Handsome Hunter
  • Sage Shadow
  • Mellow Moss
  • Green Galore
  • Gable Green
  • Barely Banana
  • Yoyo Yellow
  • Summer Sun
  • Apricot Appeal
  • Only Orange
  • Really Rust
  • Ruby Red
  • Cameo Coral
  • Blush Blossom
  • Creamy Caramel
  • Close To Cocoa

The card stock, inks, markers and such in these retiring colors will only be available while supplies last, so be sure to order what you want as soon as possible.  I can't stress this enough!  I have no idea what quantities are left and what the demand for these colors will be.  Order now, so you don't miss your last chance to get your faves!

Current Colors That Stay

So what is left?  24 of the colors you love to use time and time again!  Always Artichoke, Basic Black, Basic Gray, Bashful Blue, Bravo
Burgundy, Certainly Celery, Chocolate Chip, Elegant Eggplant, Garden Green, More Mustard, Night of Navy,
Not Quite Navy, Old Olive, Perfect Plum, Pretty in
Pink, Pumpkin Pie, Real Red, Regal Rose, Rose Red, Sahara Sand, So Saffron, Tempting Turquoise, Very Vanilla, and Whisper White.  Plus, there's some…

Awesome New Colors

I can already tell that the new colors are gonna spice up the current colors!  Try to imagine these: Daffodil Delight (warm yellow, not as bright as Yoyo Yellow, deeper than Summer Sun), Cajun Craze (spicy orange, richer than Really Rust), Early Expresso (rich coffee color like dark chocolate), Cherry Cobbler (dark red cherry), Marina Mist
(pretty pool color, brighter than Brocade Blue), Crumb Cake (new name for Kraft—we'll have ink and markers in this now!).

New In Color Rotation

There will be five new In Colors (not already mentioned or shown) introduced in the new catalog, and they will be available for two years!  I'm so happy they will be around longer!  The, in 2011, we'll get five additional In Colors, for a total of 10 that year, and they'll also be available for two years.  So, basically, each year (beginning next year), we'll lose five and gain five, but always have 10—rotating fresh colors into the mix every year.  Too Cool!

What Does This Mean For You?

If you've ever renovated your home, you know how much fun renovations can be!  They are always a bit scary and exciting at the same time, but the results are worth the effort!  I know you'll love what's ahead and I can't wait to share all of the great new color combinations with you!  For now, just remember:

  • You'll have great new colors to choose from!
  • Many of the old In Colors you loved are back!
  • Time to stock up now on any retiring colors that
you love before they are gone June 30!

I'll provide more information on this change soon.  Until then, I'd be happy to take your comments and questions on the big Color Renovation change!
