Brightly Gleaming Shimmer Watercolor Cards
If you're looking for a simply stunning Christmas card that is pretty simple to mass-produce, this one fits the bill! The focal point is so pretty and the Gleaming Ornament Punch Pack makes popping the ornaments so easy!
Background Basics—I started by embossing a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Very Vanilla cardstock with the Stylish Scroll Embossing Folder. This folder is from the Halloween-themed Monster Bash suite, but it doesn't have any Halloween images in it, so it works perfectly for lots of suites from the Holiday Catalog. I selected the de-bossed side to show on this Very Vanilla Thick card base.
Gleaming Background—I adhered a 3" x 4" piece of the Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper to the card front. Oh…this paper! I love the jewel tone colors—Pretty Peacock, Night of Navy & Mossy Meadow—and the copper foil accents are the real kicker! Plus, the size of the paper on this card allows you to make 12 cards from one sheet if you're making a whole stack of holiday cards!
I topped it with a 3" x 1/2" strip of Pretty Peacock Noble Peacock Foil. Those foil sheets, while not exactly the same colors, are similar enough that they still look great! The Blueberry Bushel can pass for Night of Navy and the Old Olive is close enough to Mossy Meadow.
Shining Ornaments—I stamped the larger Christmas Gleaming ornament in Blueberry Bushel ink onto Very Vanilla, then colored it with the Wink of Stella glimmer brush. The ink bleeds where you color it, giving the ornament a two-toned look and lots of shimmer. I stamped the smaller ornament in Pretty Peacock and shimmered it up as well. Next, I punched the ornaments with the full-size Gleaming Ornaments Punch Pack and popped them up with Dimensionals onto a Very Vanilla Stitched Shapes oval die-cut. That oval is popped up as well onto the card front.
Finishing Touches—I stamped the Christmas Gleaming sentiment in Mossy Meadow onto Very Vanilla, then cut it out and popped it up. I finished by adding a single Noble Peacock Rhinestone with a Blueberry Bushel color.

Two Cool—I created a second card using a different Brightly Gleaming DSP pattern for the background and added a strip of Copper Foil this time.
Focal Point—All of the ornament & sentiment elements are the same, just mounted in a different configuration. I finished it off with a pretty, coordinating copper Star Element.
Three Cool—My third card shows the Stylish Scroll raised texture in the background. I used one of the papers that didn't have copper accents on it and the strip across the front is Blueberry Bushel Noble Peacock Foil.
