The pretty Butterfly Wishes stamp set can be easy to miss in the catalog. It may not come with matching dies or Designer Series Paper, but that doesn't mean it's any less appealing! It has the DisINKtive style rubber, offering a very detailed images on the flowers and butterflies. I paired it with ink from the Stampin' Write Markers for a beautiful look!
Background Basics—I inked up the Butterfly Wishes branch image in VersaMark ink and stamped it onto the upper left and lower right corners of the Crumb Cake card base. Next, I embossed a 2-3/4" x 4-1/4" piece of Blackberry Bliss cardstock with the Pinewood Planks embossing folder and adhered it to the card front with a combination of Tear & Tape and SNAIL adhesives.
Stamping With Markers—I used Stampin' Write Markers to color directly onto the red rubber of the branch stamp. To apply the color, gently "paint" on the ink with the side of the brush tip end. I colored Rich Razzleberry on the flowers, Old Olive on the leaves and Soft Suede on the branch, then huffed onto the stamp to rejuvenate the ink, and stamped onto a Whisper White Stitched Nested Label die-cut. Oooh, you're going to LOVE the detail of the pretty flowers in person!
Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the Butterfly Wishes greeting in Blackberry Bliss ink under the branch.
Beautiful Butterfly—The butterfly is stamped in two parts. First, I inked the image in Blackberry Bliss ink, stamped off one time, then stamped onto the Stitched Nested Label die-cut so that the antennae and body were on the label. Next, I repeated the stamped-off image onto a scrap of Whisper White, then cut it out using super-sharp Paper Snips. I didn't need to worry about cutting around the antennae and butterfly body, because it was already stamped on the label. I bent the wings and attached the butterfly over the top with a Glue Dot.
Finishing Touches—I colored three small Rhinestone Jewels with a Bronze Stampin' Blends Marker and added them to the butterfly and floating around the branch.

Two Cool—I changed up the colors and some of the elements on the second version of this card. This time I started with a Pretty Peacock card base, stamped like the first with the branch in VersaMark ink. The Pool Party panel measures 5-1/2" x 2", embossed with Pinewood Planks like the first card.
Focal Point—The branch is colored in Pool Party, Old Olive and Soft Suede Stampin' Write Markers before stamping. The butterfly is stamped-off Pretty Peacock. I added another Stitched Nested Label die-cut in Pool Party and stamped the sentiment in Pretty Peacock on that. The Rhinestone Jewels are colored with Dark Pretty Peacock Blends, but I could have took the easy route and used the new Noble Peacock Rhinestone Jewels instead…duh!
Three Cool—This is the version that I created on my Facebook LIVE video and I'm loving the soft & pretty color combination. It's a Crumb Cake background with a 2-3/4" x 4-1/4" Petal Pink embossed panel.
Focal Point—I used the Grapefruit Grove, Old Olive and Soft Suede Stampin' Write Markers for the branch. The butterfly and sentiment are stamped in Calypso Coral. The Rhinestones are colored with Dark Calypso Coral Blends Markers.
