Today's cool window cards are from my By The Bay LIVE Class. You can still place a qualifying order to purchase one of the two class options, either the 5-Card or 10-Card Kit, earned for FREE with qualifying orders.

Seaside Bay Dies Availability—It looks like the Seaside Bay Dies are currently not available. They are expected back in stock around March 27, 2023. If you order the stamps without the dies, you will not be able to receive the 10% Bundle discount.

It's always frustrating with the timing of my classes unfortunately coincides with some of the products not being available. All we can do is work around it the best we can!

If you're in need of the Seaside Bay Dies to complete my class, here are some options:

Place an order for other items now to qualify for the class; purchase the discounted Seaside Bay bundle once it's available March 27.
Sacrifice the discount; purchase the Seaside Bay stamps now and the dies once they are available March 27.
Buy only the Seaside Bay stamps. I provide the die-cuts needed for the class. You can fussy-cut any stamped images that are die-cut.
Contact me by March 14 and request to purchase the By The Bay LIVE Class for the $20 flat fee, then order the kit when it's available.
Contact me by March 14 and let me know you will be ordering the Bundle as soon as it's available. I will hold a kit for you!

By the bay shells window card - two cool

By The Bay Shells Window Cards

I love this cool card layout with a window card front that showcases the By The Bay Designer Series Paper inside. So much fun!

Card Basics—The Night of Navy card base measures 5-1/4" x 5-1/2" and it's scored at the 4-1/4" mark along the 5-1/4" side. This creates a little short flap on the front the card. I also cut a 2" x 5-1/2" piece of Night of Navy cardstock and a 2" x 5-1/2" Window Sheet for the rest of the card front. To assemble, I added some Tear & Tape Adhesive along the inside edge of the short front flap, then attached the edge of the Window Sheet to that.

Next, I added a line of Tear & Tape to the edge of the 2" piece of Night of Navy. With the card front/window closed, line up the non-adhesive edge of the 2" Night of Navy piece flush with the edge of the card, then adhere the other side to the Window Sheet. You can watch the video replay to see this in action…it's linked above.

Inside The Card—I adhered a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White to the inside of the card for the message area. Then, I adhered the 1-1/2" x 5-1/2" piece of By The Bay DSP over that, with edges flush with the top and bottom of the card. TIP: To position, line the DSP (adhesive side up) over the top of the inside of the window, then close the card. Watch the video for clarification.

Decorating The Card Front—I adhered a 3/4" x 5-1/4" piece of By The Bay DSP in a Night of Navy & pearl waves pattern to the short flap. I embossed a 1-3/4" x 5-1/4" piece of Night of Navy with the Seashells Embossing Folder, then adhered it to the larger Night of Navy panel.

Shell Collage—I die-cut a Mint Macaron large Seaside Bay clam shell and adhered that to the card front. Next, I stamped the Seaside Bay sentiment in Night of Navy ink onto a Basic White All That die-cut oval. It's popped up with Dimensionals, carefully positioned to the right, so that they do not show through the inside of the window. Next, I stamped a Balmy Blue shell and a Crumb Cake shell, die-cut those and adhered those around the sentiment with either SEAL Adhesive or Dimensionals. I finished with a Crumb Cake shell die-cut popped up with a Mini Dimensional. Lastly, I just had to add a single large Flat Adhesive-Backed Pearl to the clam.

Two Cool—My second version has a Sahara Sand card base. I tied some Crumb Cake Baker's Twine around the short flap and embossed the other side with the Seashells Embossing Folder.

Inside The Card— This time it spotlights another Petal Pink shell pattern of By The Bay DSP through the window

Shell Collage—The large clam shell is in Petal Pink and the small shell is in Mint Macaron. The sentiment is stamped in Sahara Sand. The shells are stamped in Mint Macaron and Sahara Sand inks. Supplies to make this card will be in the 10-Card LIVE Class Kit!
