Circle circus - two cool

The Circle Circus stamp set is so much fun and so versatile for all kinds of occasions!  I love the look of overlapped circle elements on cards.  All the layers and colors remind me of gears and give the appearance of "movement" on the card.  Cool!

I started with a Soft Suede card base in a traditional size, but decided to trim off 3/4" inch off the card front, so the final measurement was 7-3/4" x 5-1/2", scored at 3-1/2".

I layered a 3-1/4" x 5-1/2" piece of soon-to-retire Baja Breeze on the front to create a foundation for my Circle Circus border.

The Baja Breeze Seam Binding (also retiring), was twisted before wrapping around the entire card front and tying in a double-knot.

The circles are stamped in Baja Breeze, also retiring Not Quite Navy, Soft Suede and Old Olive inks and punched out with the corresponding circle or scallop circle punches.  The punches make this card super-easy to design and assemble in a matter of minutes!  Be sure to pop some of the circles up with Dimensionals for a beautifully layered look.

I added a Large Rhinestone Jewel and smaller Rhinestone Jewels to three of the circles.

Depending on which circle images you choose, and the colors you use, it's a fine set for masculine cards!

I felt like the edge needed a little pattern, so I stamped one of the
images in Soft Suede on the inside edge.  Subtle, but just what it
needed!

Here's what it looks like on the inside.

I'll be sad to see the Curly Cute sentiment stamps go.  They are in such a terrific font that works with anything from whimsical to elegant, and the long, large shapes fit nicely in skinny spots on cards.  It's a fantastic basic greetings set for any stamp collection!

The horizontal version is just as fun with just a little more frilly!

Circle circus - h3

I added a few more circles in varying sizes.

And, I fancied this card up a bit by texture embossing over the sentiment with
the Fancy Fan folder.  I thought the design echoed some of the circle
patterns beautifully. What do you think?
