I've been reminded by several people that I have not shared photos of Ava for quite awhile. I sincerely apologize! Things have gotten so crazy over the past few weeks doing classes, getting ready for our monthly team event and rounding up all of my tax info. I realized my little girl is already 5 months old and I haven't even posted her 4 months photos! So, I'm doing some catch up this week. I'll be posting more 4 months photos on my Too Cool Stamping Facebook page later today. Find it here and be sure to "follow" my page to stay updated: Too Cool Stamping Facebook page.
Sweet Ava 4 Months Update—Ava is really starting to develop her personality. She is grabbing at everything and learning how to pick up and manipulate objects with her hands, like her favorite soft book called "Hello Baby." I love it when she reaches out and touches my face with her hands…so precious! She is trying to hold her bottle and has realized that she'll get that last drop if she raises it up and tilts her head back.
Ava is noticing things around her more and more. She enjoys watching the doggers, Jax and Millie, who are starting to become more protective of her. And, she is a giggler! She has the sweetest little laugh when you give her raspberries on her tummy or say, "cutie, cutie cutie!" She isn't content to just lie around anymore…she likes to be propped up in a sitting position or to be held in standing position.

Cactus Cuties with Sweet Symmetry Cards
I love the pairing of the cool Cactus Cuties stamp set with the pretty patterns in the Sweet Symmetry Designer Series Paper. Both are retiring soon: the Cactus Cuties will be retiring with the Mini Catalog on June 30 (or while supplies last) and the Symmetry DSP will be gone for good after May 2 (or while supplies last).
Background Basics—This card begins by embossing a 4" x 5-1/4" layer of Calypso Coral cardstock with the Gingham Embossing Folder. A 4" x 2-1/4" piece of Sweet Symmetry DSP was adhered to the bottom and a strip of White Crinkled Seam Binding was added across the top of the DSP, with the ends secured on the back. The layers were mounted onto a Basic White Thick card base.
Prickly Focal Point—The Cactus Cuties images were stamped onto a 2-1/4" x 3-1/4" piece of Basic White. The pot was stamped in Night of Navy, the cactus in retiring Just Jade and the flowers in Calypso Coral. It's layered onto a Just Jade Stitched So Sweetly die-cut and popped up onto the card front with Dimensionals. Finish by tying a White Crinkled Seam Binding bow and attaching it onto the ribbon on the card background with a Glue Dot.

Cactus Cuties Brick Hello Cards
I'm loving the texture and patterns on this delightful Cactus Cuties card. It all begins with a cool inked embossing folder technique!
Background Basics—Start by inking up the Brick & Mortar Embossing Folder with Crumb Cake ink on the side with the Stampin' Up! logo. Add a 5-1/4" x 4" piece of Cinnamon Cider cardstock and run it through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. The ink in the folder brings out the awesome brick texture of the folder so well! Mount that onto a Cinnamon Cider card base.
Focal Point—Die cut a Stitched Rectangles Basic White die-cut and stamp the Cactus Cuties images on it for the focal point. Stamp the larger cactus image in Evening Evergreen in the center, then stamp the two pots in Misty Moonlight with Just Jade cacti. Add a sentiment in Misty Moonlight ink. Stamp the larger pot in Cinnamon Cider ink onto Cinnamon Cider cardstock and punch out with the Cactus Builder Punch. Add with Dimensionals. Punch out two Daffodil Delight flowers and pop those up, too. Adhere the focal point to the card front with SEAL Adhesive or Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Attach some Pebble Enamel Shape between the pots. Add some Wink of Stella glimmer onto the flowers, if desired.
