Carmen’s You Are Loved Card & Valentine’s Class

Well, I kept hoping that it would happen, but it hasn't…*sigh*.  I was holding out hope that Stampin' Up! may decide to keep the gorgeous You Are Loved stamp set as a carryover item, especially since they kept the coordinating Love Blossoms wheel.  But, alas, it hasn't come to pass…*double sigh*.

 

In any event, I'm still ignoring their unfortunate decision and pretending like that set still lives on (it still has a chance to make it into the new catalog in July). 

Carmen DeBruce created this pretty card featuring the aforementioned stamp set, and I love it!  She used a variety of markers to color directly on the "Happy Valentine's Day" stamp for a beautiful multi-color image.  The embossed scallop border is created with the Adorning Accents Edgelits Dies and Adorning Accents Embossing Folders. 

Everything is layered on the Twitterpated Designer Paper, and accented with a Baja Breeze Pleated Satin Ribbon (can't get enough of that ribbon!).

You Are Loved Valentine's Class

To further celebrate my state of denial, I'm still planning to do my You Are Loved Valentine's Class. We'll be creating 3 cards, a Ghirhadelli Chocolate Holder, and the Petite Pockets Coupon Book I've already posted.

While this is a Valentine-themed class, I'll have plenty of other stamps you can choose from to make your projects good for birthdays, showers, or other "love" occasions.
