Even though the Holiday Catalog has not been released yet, it's not too early to start working on those Christmas cards! You can order the Carols of Christmas bundle with this month's early release and use the Christmas-themed Be Merry Designer Series Paper from the Annual Catalog to get a head start on some trendy cards!

Today, I'm sharing a quick & easy holiday card design that features both the bundle and DSP! It's perfect for stamping a stack before the busy holiday season kicks into gear!

The sentiments in the Carols of Christmas stamp set are big and bold and look amazing when backed by festive holiday papers like those from the Be Merry Designer Series Paper Pack.

Background Basics—I cut a 5-1/4" x 2" piece of the Be Merry trees pattern, and a 5-1/4" x 2-1/4" piece of the Cherry Cobbler pattern and adhered them onto a Garden Green card base with SNAIL. Next, I layered a 5-1/4" x 1" strip of Garden Green card stock over the seam.

Decked Out—I stamped the Carols of Christmas "deck the halls" sentiment in Memento Black ink onto Whisper White card stock, then die-cut it with the Layering Ovals Framelits. I decorated the sentiment with some fun holiday accents! I stamped the poinsettia image twice in Cherry Cobbler ink and the leaves twice in Garden Green onto Whisper White scraps. I used the Card Front Builder Thinlits to cut the accents, then I adhered them with Glue Dots.

Finishing Touches—I added Rhinestone Jewels to the flower centers. I tied some of the elegant Silver 3/8" Metallic-Edge Ribbon around the card base and popped up the sentiment focal point with Dimensionals over the top.

Two Cool—The best part about this design is that you can mix & match lots of different paper patterns! Use up those DSP scraps, too! My second version uses the ornaments & bells pattern, along with a Garden Green houndstooth pattern. I also changed the card base to Cherry Cobbler. Quick & cute!
