Background Basics—This card begins with a card base in the brand NEW Petal Pink cardstock. I'm loving this soft, light peach color that's a lighter version of the new Grapefruit Grove color. I embossed a 5-1/4" x 4" layer of Petal Pink with the Layered Leaves Dynamic Texture Impressions Folder, then adhered it to the Petal Pink card base with Tear & Tape Adhesive for a secure hold.
NEW Color Revamp—Have you heard?! We'll be getting 10 brand new colors in the new 2018-2019 Annual Catalog! See details here: Color Revamp.
Terrific Two-Step—I stamped the Abstract Impressions rose with the thickest lines two times onto a 3-7/8" x 2-1/2" piece of Whisper White using Calypso Coral ink. This image actually has three steps to it, but I only used two here. I stamped the thin detailed rose image in the NEW Lovely Lipstick In Color.
TIP: There are arrows printed on the sheet that holds the stamps from the stamp set. Take note of those as you mount the stamp on your block to help you position the layers beautifully!
Next, I added some leaves around the flowers in NEW Granny Apple Green. I'm loving this bright new green color! I finished by stamping the Abstract Impressions sentiment in Sahara Sand.
Finishing Touches—I adhered the stamped piece onto a 4" x 2-5/8" layer of Copper Foil, then popped up the layers onto the card front. Finally, I added a small coordinating Petal Pink bow from the NEW Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack, attached with a Glue Dot. The metallic strands in the ribbon look amazing with the Copper Foil! This two-pack of ribbon also comes with a 1/8" ribbon in NEW Shaded Spruce.
Two Cool—I created a second version with a Daffodil Delight card base. This time the flowers were stamped in NEW Mango Melody and Melon Mambo. The sentiment is also from the Abstract Impressions stamp set.
Finishing Touches—I layered the stamped piece onto Gold Foil this time and added some yellow pearl accents from the Share What You Love Artisan Pearls.
