Hi Stamping Friends!
Well, now that Sale-a-Bration 2018 is officially history, it's time to focus on getting ready for the NEW Annual Catalog! Several of my Too Cool team members and I will be traveling to Milwaukee next weekend to the Stampin' Up! OnStage Local event. The highlight of the event is that we will be there for the unveiling of the NEW 2018-2019 Annual Catalog! I cannot wait! EEEEEeeee!
Retired List Coming Soon! On the heels of the new catalog release to demonstrators at OnStage, Stampin' Up! will also be announcing the 2018 Retired List, sometime next week! It will be our last chance to purchase soon-to-be gone items and, if it's like past years, some items on the list will be discounted. Retiring items will be available while supplies last thru May 31, 2018, only.
2016-2018 In Colors Retiring! Even though we don't yet know everything on that Retired List, we do know there are some items that are sure to be leaving. The 2016-2018 In Colors are on their way out this year, as we make room for 5 new, fresh & trendy In Colors! We'll be saying good-bye to Dapper Denim, Emerald Envy, Flirty Flamingo, Peekaboo Peach and Sweet Sugarplum. It's been one of my favorite In Color collections ever, so I'm very sad to see these colors go.
Stock Up NOW, Before They Sell Out! The retiring In Color products are typically some of the first items to sell out as soon as the Retired List is announced. So, NOW is the time to get your ink refills and stock up on card stock, DSP, ribbons & embellishments that you love in these colors! Don't wait until the list comes out next week, or you might miss out!
A Look Back… Today, I'm celebrating the retiring In Colors with a look back at some of my favorite projects with these fantastic colors! You can find details & supply lists for each project linked right below its photos.
Lift Me Up Cloudy Day Card
I'm not gonna lie…Sweet Sugarplum, Peekaboo Peach and Flirty Flamingo have been my favorite colors from this In Color collection. They complement each other so well that I've used them together on dozens of projects over the past two years. I love how they look combined with other colors, as well, like this sweet Lift Me Up card with a Pool Party background.
Here's another example of how awesomely (yes, awesomely) these three In Colors work together. They are perfect for any feminine birthday card, for any age!
Swirly Bird Birthday Card
And, of course, Sweet Sugarplum, Flirty Flamingo and Peekaboo Peach look amazing on flowers bouquets of all kinds! I especially loved this Swirly Bird design with Gold Foil accents and soft crumb cake leaves.
Vintage Leaves Birthday Window Card
Dapper Denim is such a classic color of blue, I wish it could stick around as part of our regular line! I like that it's not as dark as Night of Navy, but it's much deeper & richer than Pacific Point. Plus, it has all the versatility of a pair of denim jeans! It's one of those colors that can be dressed up with bright colors for a cheerful card, or paired with darker, neutral colors, for an elegant style.
High Tide Hope Card
One of my favorite Dapper Denim cards was this lighthouse card created with the High Tide stamp set. Dapper Denim is a go-to for backgrounds and accents on beautiful seascape cards. I love it with the current Waterfront stamp set, too!
Coffee Café Friend Gift Card Holder
I have really enjoyed Emerald Envy as a fun & refreshing addition to my Christmas color palette! I love it here, paired with Dapper Denim, White and Silver to provide a wintery feel. But, it's also amazing in combination with Real Red for a more traditional, yet trendy, Christmas color combination. That striped In Color ribbon has been a favorite of mine, too! It comes in all of the retiring In Colors, so stock up on those ribbons, too!
You Are Amazing Birthday Card
Finally, I couldn't end the post without re-sharing this Marvelous Marqueé Messages card featuring Peekaboo Peach & Sweet Sugarplum, along with Pool party. I'm so very sad to see these pretty colors go!
