Charming Day Single Flower Card

The Floral Charm Suite has absolutely gorgeous floral Designer Series Paper created with a watercolor look. I love pairing it with a stunning, layered die-cut flower courtesy of the Charming Day Dies. Plus, this one is in all of my “Too Cool” colors—Too Cool!

Background Basics

I started by embossing a 4-1/4″ x 1-3/4″ piece of Pretty Peacock with the Pressed Flower Embossing Folder and mounting it onto the bottom of a Berry Burst card base with SEAL Adhesive.

Floral Frame

I hate covering up that beautiful Floral Charm DSP, but I do love the look of it used as a pretty floral frame. I adhered a 3″ x 4-1/2″ piece of the DSP to a 3-1/4″ x 4-3/4″ piece of Blackberry Bliss, then attached it to the card front with SEAL Adhesive.

Focal Point Flower

I die-cut a Mossy Meadow Charming Day flower with stem, then I die-cut another Berry Burst flower only with the same die. After trimming the Berry Burst layer down to the flower, I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere it to the Mossy Meadow die-cut layer. I mounted that with more Liquid Glue onto a Basic White Textured Notes die-cut, then popped up the layer with Dimensionals onto the floral frame.

Sweet Sentiment

I stamped a Charming Day sentiment in Blackberry Bliss ink onto a Basic White Stylish Shapes banner die-cut. It’s attached with SEAL Adhesive across the bottom of the focal point.

Finishing Touches

I added a few Berry Burst Charming Faceted Shimmer Dots around the focal point, then brushed on some Wink of Stella glimmer on the flower. Such loveliness!
