Cheerful Basket Happiness Fun-Fold Card I was blown away by all of the awesome details on this Cheerful Basket card created by Greta Wilcher. She spent an amazing amount of time die-cutting and sponging those little apples and the results is simply…WOW!
Background Basics—What a fun card base! Greta started with a 4-1/4" x 8-1/2" piece of Gray Granite cardstock, scored at the 4-1/4" mark. She added a 4" x 4" piece of Design A Daydream Designer Series Paper. This paper pack is HUGE, containing 48 sheets of 12" x 12" paper (4 each of 12 double-sided sheets), and it can only be purchased with Stampin' Rewards dollars. Simply have a $150 individual order or workshop order to start earning those Stampin' Rewards! See more about Stampin' Rewards here.
.
Sweet Sentiment—Greta stamped the Cheerful Basket sentiment in Gray Granite onto a 2-5/8" x 3-7/8" piece of Basic White cardstock. She used a Blending Brush to add a little Petal Pink ink just above the sentiment to create an eventual shadow of the focal point. The piece is adhered onto a 2-3/4" x 4" piece of Gray Granite, then attached to the card front with Dimensionals, so that the panel sticks up above the card fold by about 1-1/4" to make the card fold to a traditional 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" size. Too Cool!
Apple Basket—Oh how I love this adorable basket! Greta used the Full Basket Dies to die cut the overlapping basket pieces. Notice the awesome wooden details on the basket—that comes from the dies! She used a Sponge Dauber to add a bit of Gray Granite ink around the edges of the horizontal pieces.
She popped up the basket with Mini Dimensionals. Greta also die cut another piece of the same Design A Daydream DSP to create the cloth that hangs out of the top of the basket. Look closely and you can see a gingham embossed design on the piece, also courtesy of the same die. I love how so many dies emboss AND cut nowadays!
She die cut a Gray Granite basket handle and adhered that over the cloth with Liquid Multipurpose Gluye and added a Gray Granite baker's twine bow from the Baker's Twine Essentials Pack. It's attached with more Liquid Multipurpose Glue.
Amazing Apples—Wow! Greta went all out with the details on the bushel of apples! She die cut three Petal Pink and four Daffodil Delight apples with the Full Basket Dies. She sponged them all with Petal Pink or Daffodil Delight ink. She also die cut Old Olive apple stems and a couple of Old Olive leaves. She assembled all of the parts inside the basket with a combination of Liquid Glue and Mini Dimensionals. I especially love the one apple that has spilled out of the basket. Adorable!

Cheerful Basket Thank You Fun-Fold Card
Here's another amazing Cheerful Basket card, this time created by Karen Sliwinski. Like the card above, this one is full of details. This time, rather than die-cutting, Stampin' Blends Markers were used for a cool & colorful focal point.
Background Basics—Karen started her fun-fold card with a 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" piece of Daffodil Delight cardstock for the base. She cut a 8-1/2" x 3" piece of Poppy Parade cardstock for the card opening part. This piece is scored at the 4-1/4" mark and texture embossed with the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder. Karen adhered this card opening to the card base across the center, so that it opens left-to-right. She finished by adding 4-1/4" x 1" strips of Parakeet Party In Color DSP along the top and bottom. All of the apple colors represented!
Apple Basket—Karen stamped the Cheerful Basket basket and apples images in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Basic White. She colored the basket with Soft Suede Stampin' Blends Markers. The apples were colored with Parakeet Party, Poppy Parade, Daffodil Delight and Old Olive. The images were die cut with the Full Basket Dies, tied up with some Linen Thread and popped up onto the card front. Sweet!
Sweet Sentiment—Karen stamped a Charming Sentiments greeting in Poppy Parade onto Basic White, then die cut it with the Sentiment Silhouettes Dies and popped it up next to the basket.
Inside The Card—Karen finished the inside of the card with a Cheerful Basket sentiment stamped in Parakeet Party ink. She also die-cut an apple in Poppy Parade and stem in Parakeet Party and adhered them with Liquid Multipurpose Glue. Just delightful!
