Cheerful Daisies Oops-a-Daisy Card
I love the clever way that the Cheerful Daisies images and dies were designed to work together in versatile ways! Typically, we stamp an image first, then use the dies to cut out the image. On this card, the large floral image is die-cut first, then stamped on with coordinating images. So fun!
Background Basics—I started with a 8-3/4" x 4-1/4" piece of Pretty Peacock cardstock, scored at the 3-1/4" mark. This creates a shortened panel for the card front, which I decorated with a 3" x 4" piece of Fresh As A Daisy Designer Series Paper. On the inside of the card, I added a 2-1/2" x 4" piece of Copper Clay cardstock that was embossed with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder.
Focal Point Foundation—I stamped a Cheerful Daisies sentiment in Pretty Peacock ink onto a 3-3/4" x 2-1/2" piece of Basic White cardstock. I layered it onto a 4" x 2-3/4" piece of Pretty Peacock, then mounted it onto the shortened card panel with SEAL Adhesive, so that it was centered on the card front.
Delightful Daisies—I started by die-cutting the large daisy trio cut-out in Basic White with the Cheerful Daisies Dies. I trimmed away the leaves to use on another project. Next, I stamped the flowers with the coordinating Cheerful Daisies solid daisy images in Lemon Lolly ink. I finished with the small and large flower center images in Copper Clay ink.
Finishing Touches—I added few Copper Clay colored 2023-2025 In Color Dots and a little Wink of Stella shimmer to the flower centers, too.
Inside The Card—I used the same size Basic White piece as the front, 3-3/4" x 2-1/2", to add to the inside for a message area. This would look so much cuter with some daisies stamped on it, am I right?!
Cheerful Daisies Brightest Birthday Card
Betsy Crider sent me this beautiful swap card, which inspired my card above. Her card features a different Fresh As A Daisy DSP pattern, a different In Color and measures just a little bit differently.
Background Basics—Betsy started her card with a 7-3/4" x 4-1/4" piece of Bubble Bath, scored at the 2-1/4" mark. She decorated the front short flap with a Moody Mauve pattern from Fresh As A Daisy.
Focal Point Foundation—Betsy's focal point begins with a 4" x 3" piece of Fresh As A Daisy DSP. She wrapped some Moody Mauve Texture Ribbon around the piece before mounting it onto a 4-1/4" x 3-1/4" piece of Bubble Bath.
Delightful Daisies Sentiment—Betsy stamped a Cheerful Daisies sentiment in Moody Mauve ink onto a Basic White Cheerful Daisies label die-cut and popped it up over the ribbon with Dimensionals. Then, she die-cut two different Moody Mauve daisies and coordinating Crushed Curry flower centers, then popped them up, as well. She finished with Rhinestones Jewels on the flowers. So lovely!
Inside the Card—Betsy stamped a Moody Mauve Cheerful Daisies image with a Crushed Curry flower center onto a 5-1/4" x 4" piece of Basic White for the inside.
