In Color Inspiration Week Starts May 23! I've been working on my In Color Club cards…oh what fun! Not only do the cards feature the new In Colors, but they also show lots of fresh and fun color combinations to try with other colors from the Core Color Collections! If you are one of those who do not like the muted look of the new In Colors, I think you might be surprised to see what those colors look like in combination with other brighter colors! It's been so fun to experiment! Stay tuned next week for my In Color Inspiration Week! I'll have a Layering Leaves In Color LIVE Class on Tuesday, May 23, at 7pm, along with a 5-Card Class Kit that you can earn. Plus, I'll share additional In Color Combination ideas on my blog all week!
In Color Club Update—I'm prepping my first round of In Color Club kits and they should mail out this coming week! Reservations are still open for my final round, but do not wait…I'll be closing soon!

Cheerful Daisies Boho Blue Friendship Card
Boho Blue is the most popular 2023-2025 In Color, according to Stampin' Up! and it's easy to see why! It's a color that can easily be dressed up for bright and cheery cards, or dressed down with muted colors for thinking of you and sympathy cards. Here's a lovely thinking of you card with a cool fun fold from my LIVE Class!
Background Basics—This fun fold starts with a 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" piece of Boho Blue cardstock, scored at the 1-3/4" and 4-1/4" marks. Basically, it's folded in half with a small panel folded back to make a shortened card front in a Z-Fold style. I added a 1-1/2" x 5-1/4" piece of Fresh As A Daisy Designer Series Paper to the short front panel. I used the Boho Blue pattern with all the daisies at the bottom. Then I had a second 1-1/2" x 5-1/4" piece from the same sheet, but I used the top of the sheet where there were little to no flowers. I adhered that strip to the inside of the card so that it flanked the first strip.
I also embossed a 2-1/4" x 5-1/4" piece of Boho Blue cardstock with the Timeworn Type Embossing Folder and adhered it next to the fold on the card front for some textured detail.
Focal Point Foundation—I stamped a Cheerful Daisies sentiment in Boho Blue ink onto the bottom of a Basic White Deckled Rectangles die-cut. I mounted it onto a 2" x 3-3/8" piece of Boho Blue cardstock, then attached it to the edge of the short front panel.
Delightful Daisies—I stamped the Cheerful Daisies outline flowers in Boho Blue onto Basic White, then stamped the coordinating centers with Copper Clay ink. I die-cut those, as well as Basic White die-cuts for the inside of the flower. I adhered the inside pieces with Multipurpose Liquid Glue, so you could really only see the very outer line of the daisies. I finished by popping them up with Dimensionals onto the focal point foundation and adding a few Boho Blue In Color Dots.
Cheerful Daisies Birthday Z-Fold Scene Card
Sandy Carlson sent this pretty Cheerful Daisies Z-Fold Scene card to me and I adore it!
Background Basics—Sandy's card starts with a 5-1/2" x 11" piece of Garden Green cardstock, scored at the 3" and 5-3/4" marks. She attached a 3-3/8" x 5-1/4" piece of Fresh As A Daisy DSP to the front card panel so that the edge hangs over and covers the inside.
On the inside, she mounted a 1-3/4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White for writing. Then, she added a 2-1/8" x 5-1/4" piece of DSP centered between the writing space and the fold. She finished by adding a 3" x 5-1/4" piece centered between the two other DSP panels. I love this "scene" style of card. You can see one that I did last month here: Texture Chic Scene Card.
Front Focal Point—Sandy stamped a Cheerful Daises greeting in Garden Green on the top of a Basic White Stylish Shapes die-cut. She added the Cheerful Daisies flower cluster image in Daffodil Delight underneath, then mounted it onto a larger Garden Green Stylish Shapes circle. It's adhered to the card front with SEAL. She finished by die-cutting a couple of Basic White flowers with the Cheerful Daisies Dies, then popping those up with Dimensionals. I love, love, LOVE that white "silhouette" look! Too Cool, Sandy!
